As more developers and publishers move their press events to the weekend before E3, Nintendo has managed to make itself the primary focus of E3's Tuesday. The company is still riding the popular wave of Breath of the Wild (which was game of show for many at E3 2016) and high console sales for the Switch, so everyone is looking forward to see what the big N is up to next.

As usual, Nintendo's E3 presence will be in the form of a Nintendo Spotlight, rather than a more traditional press conference. The company has said that it plans to put a focus on upcoming Switch games, which means fans should be able to expect an extended peek at this holiday season's Super Mario Odyssey.

In addition to Mario Odyssey, the Switch is also preparing to release ARMS, Splatoon 2, and Pokken Tournament DX; so we expect to see those titles get some love as well.

The gaming community has begun to express frustration with Nintendo for the number of remasters arriving on the Switch, so it would be very exciting if Nintendo used this opportunity to announce a new upcoming game with a teaser. Even if it was a late 2018 release window, some kind of brand new game announcement would make for a great mic drop moment. That said, Nintendo usually doesn't use E3 for that kind of thing, so we won't get our hopes up.

Following the Nintendo Spotlight, there will be a Nintendo Treehouse Live that takes a closer look at Switch and 3DS games.

Do you expect Nintendo to bring any surprises to the presentation? If so, what? Let us know in the comments!

Nintendo's press conference begins on June 13 at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET.
