The buzz of the fall and holiday period for gaming can often be quite overwhelming when it comes to video game releases. Although a few games trickle into December, most of the big-name games launch in November and before (to hit that Black Friday date). But Nintendo had quite the December, especially from a digital perspective, and The Big N just released a video to highlight said games.

Nintendo posted a video named "The Download" on its YouTube channel showing off what fans can download from its eShop right now on the Nintendo Switch. The list is quite vast, as well as diverse, from lesser-known health titles, like Fitness Boxing 2: Rythm & Exercise to AAA titles like Immortals Pheonix Rising.

One of the biggest games on the list, although small in stature, was one of the bigger surprises of December, that being the Nintendo Switch port of Among Us. Sam & Max Saved the World is also in the video, a game that just made the cut as it landed on the eShop at the beginning of the month, as did Drawn to Life: Two Realms.

For those who are looking for a challenge, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light is a part of the December additions. That game, which was originally released in 1990, is fun to see in the same video as the cat cafe game Calico, as the two probably couldn't be any different. This highlights how different the library of Nintendo Switch games is, which is a very good thing.

Doom Eternal for the Switch still reviews very well, despite its limitations on a less powerful console, and that game is also in the video as it released this month. Perhaps just as gory, but in an entirely different way, is Capybara's Grindstone, a Switch console launch exclusive. The Download video is filled with titles that aren't mentioned in this article as well, so Switch fans should take a look. All of these titles highlight the fact that December was a wonderful month for Switch owners; filled with plenty of gaming options to chose from.
