Last week, Nintendo decided to delay its previously scheduled Direct broadcast following an earthquake in Hokkaido, Japan, with the Big N promising to reveal a new date for its online presentation at a later date. Now, the company has unveiled that its next Direct broadcast will air tomorrow, Thursday, September 13, 2018, with the presentation set to last roughly 35 minutes in total.

As indicated by the tweet from Nintendo of America below, the Nintendo Direct initially scheduled for last week will now debut tomorrow at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM ET, and the presentation will feature details regarding forthcoming games for the 3DS and the Switch. Unfortunately, though, the Big N didn't offer any further details related to what fans should expect to see during tomorrow's show.

As some may recall, the postponement of last week's Nintendo Direct looks to have indirectly led to certain game announcements occurring seemingly out of the blue, with the reveals potentially having been scheduled beforehand to go live alongside their unveiling during the broadcast. For instance, Civilization 6 was confirmed for Switch on the game's official website, but all promotional details were quickly scrubbed away after showing up online. This led to many speculating that the Civ 6 announcement was intended for last week's Direct, but neither 2K nor Nintendo confirmed as much.

All things considered, it will be interesting to see what Nintendo has up its sleeves for the upcoming Nintendo Direct, with a safe bet being a showing from titles absent during the company's E3 2018 presser, such as the forthcoming Yoshi game for Switch. There's also a chance that the Big N could dedicate a portion of the broadcast to deliver new details on some of the most highly anticipated Switch titles of 2018–that is, Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

The next Nintendo Direct is scheduled to air on September 13, 2018 at 3:00 PM PT / 6:00 PM PT.
