Nintendo fans looking forward to Black Friday sales this year can start making plans early, as Nintendo has officially revealed its line-up of discounts and deals for the holiday season. Sales prices for the Black Friday Nintendo Switch bundle, Nintendo Joy-Con controllers, the Poke Ball accessory controller, and almost 10 different Nintendo Switch games were revealed. Nintendo's Black Friday sales start to roll out on November 27, so holiday shoppers should plan their schedules accordingly.

For shoppers looking to buy their first Nintendo Switch console, options are unfortunately limited. In fact, the only deal available is a classic Nintendo Switch bundle that includes Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the very same bundle released for Black Friday in 2018. It's exactly the same price, at $299.99, and includes the same outdated Nintendo Switch console. But a free copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still money saved.

As for games, Nintendo will be discounting almost 10 different Nintendo Switch games 33%, down to $39.99. These games include first-party titles like Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, and Super Mario Party. Alternatively, holiday shoppers can pick up some popular third-party games, like Square Enix's Octopath Traveler or MachineGames' Wolfenstein 2. Retailer-specific discounts on select Nintendo Switch games are certain to also be available.

Nintendo will also be discounting the Nintendo Switch Joy-Con controllers for Black Friday, but only the standard Gray or Neon Red/Blue sets. These Joy-Con sets will have their price dropped 25%, from $79.99 to $59.99. The unique Poke Ball Plus controller for Pokemon Let's Go and Pokemon GO will also be on sale, its price cut a whopping 60%. Interested buyers can buy the PokeBall-shaped controller for just $19.99 starting on Black Friday.

Nintendo is almost always very reserved when it comes to holiday sales and 2019 is no different. The company puts effort into preserving price points for games on the platform, partly to create a perception of quality and value. That's why the Nintendo Switch itself isn't actually being discounted and why first-party games like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is only being discounted $20. This year, it stands in stark contrast to PS4 and Xbox One sales, as both platforms sell off stock in preparation for 2020's new console generation.

Nintendo's Black Friday discounts will roll out on November 27 and 28, lasting through Black Friday weekend. Discounts will be available at Amazon, Best Buy, Target, and at other retailers.
