The Splatoon-like battle royale Ninjala, announced as a Switch-exclusive title during a Nintendo Direct Mini in March, saw its first open beta period in April. Anyone who missed that chance to try out GungHo Online Entertainment's upcoming free-to-play title will get a second shot through another "Exclusive Ninja Club" open beta test at the end of the month.

There will be seven different event periods for the Ninjala beta active at different times on May 30 and 31, 2020 based on a player's region. North and Central American players will be able to access the Exclusive Ninja Club between 12:00 p.m. and 9:59 p.m. PDT on May 31.

Originally Ninjala was planned to be released toward the end of May, but was delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. With potential fans now having to wait until June 25 for the full experience, opening up a second beta period is a smart way for the developers to keep interests piqued.

The upcoming Switch exclusive has a fair amount of potential to capitalize on the current battle royale trend thanks to its fun art style. For those who need their Switches fixed before the game launches, Nintendo has resumed repair services following a break due to coronavirus concerns.

Ninjala will currently be available on the Nintendo Switch starting June 25, 2020.
