Following Joe Rogan's remarks on how he believes that video games are a dangerous waste of time, Twitter has been abuzz weighing in on the subject. Many games journalists, streamers, and esports players have voiced their disagreement with the criticism, saying that listening to The Joe Rogan Experience is just as much of a waste of time. Now Ninja has joined the conversation on Twitter with a video response, attempting to inform Rogan on a field he may not be as familiar with as he thinks.

This is not the first time that Rogan has talked about video games on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. A couple of weeks ago, Rogan briefly talked about how playing video games had become an addiction for him, saying he would play NBA 2K for up to 12 hours every day and was "like an alcoholic."

In the 2-minute long video response, Ninja attempted to clarify and disprove some of the comments on Rogan's podcast. Ninja explained that he believes that "Joe doesn't really understand the full context of what the gaming community is and how many different avenues you can be successful in gaming." Besides being one of those top esports athletes that Rogan discussed, Ninja pointed out that gamers can find success in different avenues like streaming, content creation on sites like YouTube, or even being an esports coach.

In regards to esports coaching, Ninja expounded further by saying, "you can be incredibly understanding of the game but not have the physical capacity to get pentakills every single round. That doesn't mean that there's not a job for you. That doesn't mean that there's not a place for you in the gaming community where you can be successful." Finally, he concluded the video by saying, "Keep gaming, continue to educate yourselves, and love you guys. And I'd love to be on the Joe Rogan podcast to talk more about it."

Ninja appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience could certainly make for an interesting show. Considering that Ninja has experience in professional gaming as well as streaming, he has the potential to give Rogan a fairly thorough education on the topic of gaming careers. Gamers will just have to wait and see if Rogan will take Ninja up on that offer and is willing to learn about something he doesn't know much about.
