Ninja has certainly been making headlines since he moved to Mixer, and once again the streamer is in the news. This time Ninja has collaborated with Adidas to make an original shoe. The streamer had hinted that moving from Twitch to Mixer would allow him to grow his brand and this is certainly a big step in doing that. The "TIME IN" Night Joggers will be available to fans everywhere very soon.

Ninja is perhaps best known for his streams of Fortnite, and he has cultivated a huge following. So much so that Ninja's move impacted both Twitch and Mixer significantly. Right now, the streamer is enjoying his fully-fledged celebrity status and the new Adidas collaboration indicates how large his influence is and how popular he has become.

The new shoe is recognizably Ninja, with its strong blue coloring and in case there was any doubt of who collaborated to make the trainer, "Ninja" is written across the shoe as well. The "TIME IN" catchphrase is written on the other shoe, completing the bright pair. The Mixer streamer's striking shoes will be available from December 31 and will have a retail price of $150 for adults and $120 for youths, so fans best start saving.

Despite the positive fan reception of the shoes, Dr Disrespect was not so kind. This is hardly surprising from a streamer with Dr Disrespect's reputation, but what will be interesting is how much of Ninja's merchandise ships. Ninja is treading new ground as a streamer and although his celebrity status is hard-earned, it is a new realm for gamers. What is certain is that Mixer is giving the streamer free-reign in his career and Ninja is using it to become a household name across the world through his merchandise and sponsorship deals.

While Ninja had claimed to have moved to Mixer for more brand growth, few will have anticipated the reach of the streamer. Just this week Ninja was streaming Fortnite with Mark Hamill and revealing the result of a deal with Adidas shortly after reflects how prolific the streamer has been. Ninja had told fans that he was collaborating with Adidas, but hadn't clarified whether it was a digital or physical partnership. Fans now know the result of this partnership and if the past few months are an indicator of Ninja's plans, then fans should be excited for a busy new year.
