Ninja is one of the most successful streamers in the world and his reputation exists outside of the streaming world. When Ninja left Twitch for Mixer it was said to open up new avenues for him to explore and this was immediately evident as he released a sneaker with Adidas. The streamer now appears to be a free agent after Mixer shut down and as a result, is continuing his deal with Adidas and releasing new sneakers.
Ninja released his first collaboration with Adidas in 2019 and many fans seemed to be pleased with the appearance of the blue shoe that had the streamers name inscribed. It now appears that this first venture was successful as a new sneaker has been developed, although it takes a more subtle approach than previous iterations.
The Nite Jogger 'Time In' running sneakers is largely black with a few splashes of additional color on the sole and laces. The laces also have a buckle that has a Ninja logo on it. The shoe also features thin blue stripes to make it more visually striking and it will likely be a hit with fans who felt that the previously released 'Time In' sneakers were too bright. The sneaker is likely to cost around $177, and while this seems costly many would make the argument that the collaboration is unique and therefore the shoe is worth the price. The other iteration of the sneaker was similarly priced and the 'Time In' sneakers sold out very quickly, so there is an audience for this footwear and as a result, many more sneakers may arrive in the future.
Some have already begun praising the sneaker, regardless of the collaboration and with this in mind, it could be the most successful collaboration between Ninja and Adidas so far. It will be interesting to see what other products Ninja can work on as he decides where his streaming future lies and what platform will allow the streamer to continue developing his brand. At the moment, it is unclear where the streamer will go next but the success of his previous collaborations suggests that a huge audience will follow the streamer.
