Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl made waves when it was announced a few months back. Combining the lovable characters of Nickelodeon with the frenetic fighting gameplay of Super Smash Bros., Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is a match made in heaven, and it is dropping pretty soon according to leaked information.

There has been a steady current of information about Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl since its formal reveal in July, which has helped make it one of this year's most hyped games. From the recent announcement of fan favorite characters like April O'Neil and CatDog will be in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, to the development team, Ludiosity, providing commentary on their intentions of the game, it is currently situated in a great place between fan excitement and knowledge. The one thing that had not been revealed all this time is the release date, only that it would be available sometime this fall. Fortunately for fans, it looks like their wait is nearly over with this latest leak.

Without any formal announcement, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl finally got an official listing on the Nintendo eShop, and with it, detailing the game's release date and other pertinent details. Based on the listing, the game is set to drop on October 5, 2021, and has a file size of 2.9 GB. The game has yet to appear on other digital retailers like PSN or the Microsoft Store, so for now, the Nintendo listing is all that is available. Until more information drops, fans will have to keep playing the similar Slap City and Super Smash Bros. Melee to hold themselves over.

In addition to the release date and file size, the listing provides a handful of screenshots and an official description of the game. A promising aspect touched upon are the characters themselves: "With unique move sets and attacks inspired by their personalities, each character has an individual style of play enabling endless action for Nickelodeon’s legion of fans." If Ludiosity is being as thorough as it has said, then this game has the potential to be the best (or at least, most creative) depictions of Nickelodeon's cast in a video game ever. While the train wreck that was Nickelodeon Kart Racers did not set the bar very high with vapid and mute characters, All-Star Brawl could very well get it right on its first outing.

Now, if Ludiosity does end up confirming October 5 as the game's release date, then that means the game for all intents and purposes is nearly finished. Sadly, that means any new major additions are likely not happening at this point, these last fews weeks being dedicated to fine tuning the already massive roster of playable characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, its systems and stages. However, it also means that the game is only a month away, and the wait is nearly over.
