The announcement of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was, without a doubt, exploding with nostalgia. Many fans were excited to see this Super Smash Bros-style adaptation of classic cartoons from their childhood, with everything from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Kora to Hey Arnold! and Danny Phantom being represented. Overall, there are 13 Nickelodeon shows appearing in the game so far.

Perhaps the best part is that it’ll get continual support much akin to Super Smash Bros too. While its exact launch plans are still uncertain, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has confirmed that there will be DLC characters. Now, even though the game just launched, dataminers have dug into the game files to reveal potential new DLC characters, including the Avatar: The Last Airbender’s Prince Zuko.

With Prince Zuko representing fire bending, it seems Avatar: The Last Airbender will be fully showcased in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl after his release—with Aang representing air bending, Korra representing water bending, and Toph representing earth bending. When Zuko will appear is uncertain, though dataminers are confident in at least some of the characters appearing at some point. Essentially, most of these following characters have had stages or announcer mentions found in the data files.

What this means is that there is some planning and elements for these characters already in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, but it does not guarantee that they haven’t been scrapped. In other words, despite being rather reliable it seems, fans should take the following DLC character roster with a grain of salt:

  • Garfield (Most Evidence—Likely one of the first characters to be added)
  • Shredder—Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Most Evidence—likely one of the first characters to be added)
  • Jimmy Neutron—Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius
  • Plankton—SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Mr. Krabs—SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Squidward—SpongeBob SquarePants
  • Tommy Pickles—Rugrats
  • Vlad Plasmius—Danny Phantom
  • Prince Zuko—Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Rocko—Rocko’s Modern Life

Again, it’s entirely some of these DLC characters don’t make the cut, and it’s definitely within the possibility that there are other DLC characters not mentioned in the game files. It’ll be interesting to see if it gets one, two, or even three “season passes” worth of DLC characters and if these DLC characters will come from more varied sources, considering three of the above ten are all from SpongeBob SquarePants.

At the end of the day, though, it’ll be interesting to see how Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl leaves its mark and if this franchise runs as long as many hope it will.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
