Many franchises have attempted to beat Super Smash Bros. at its own game, but few have succeeded. Bizarrely enough, Nickelodeon is now taking its shot at the Super Smash Bros. crown with a new fighting game that is essentially Super Smash Bros. gameplay with characters from various Nickelodeon TV showsNickelodeon All-Star Brawl has generated quite a bit of buzz for its interesting cast of characters, and while much of the roster remains a mystery, it seems fans have managed to figure out some of the game's yet-to-be-announced characters.

Going by the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl box art, Twitter user MaximumFlyer has been figuring out the identities of various characters that appear to be coming to the game. The Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl box art features outlines of Nickelodeon characters without giving away who anyone is, but MaximumFlyer has been able to figure out nearly everyone featured on the box art, and it includes characters who weren't announced as part of the initial reveal.

Along with the other characters confirmed for the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl roster, it seems fans can add Aang from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Korra from The Legend of Korra, Ren and Stimpy, and finally, Catdog to the list. None of these characters have been confirmed for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in an official capacity, but they all seem like obvious additions to the game, especially Aang and Korra.

The rest of the characters seen in the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl box art remain a mystery. Two popular Nickelodeon characters that perhaps are the most obvious possibilities for the roster are Jimmy Neutron and Timmy Turner, and it wouldn't be surprising to have a Rocko's Modern Life representative as well. For now, those looking forward to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will have to wait to learn more about the game's final roster and what other characters will be featured in the lineup.

As it stands, there's still a lot that we don't know about Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. The game will reportedly have 20 stages, yet only a couple of them have actually been named by the developers. It's set to launch this fall, but the specific release date has yet to be announced. And it's also unclear if it will have crossplay or any other modern online multiplayer conveniences. One thing fans do know, though, is that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has rollback netcode, which should give it a leg-up on other fighting games when it comes to its online play.

There's plenty of exciting characters that could make their way to this Nickelodeon Super Smash Bros. game, and hopefully fans don't have to wait too much longer to find out everyone that made the cut.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will launch fall 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
