Can EA keep up the hot streak? After successfully predicting the Saints would win the Super Bowl, EA has turned their sights to Lord Stanley's Cup. Using NHL 10 to simulate the NHL playoffs, they have determined that the Chicago Blackhawks will take home the Cup.

Both the Blackhawks and Pittrsburgh Penguins had some intense games prior to meeting up in the Stanley Cup Finals. On the road to the cup the Penguins defeated the Ottawa Senators (4 games to 0), Buffalo Sabers (4-2), and went the distance with the Washington Capitals before beating them in a game 7.  The Blackhawks also had a rough journey, beating the Predators (4-2), the Colorado Avalanche (4-0), before also being pushed to a game 7 by the Vancouver Canucks.

After the long trek to the Finals, it didn't get any easier. Chicago won game 1 in overtime by a score of 3-2 on a game winning goal by defenseman Duncan Keith. From there both teams traded games back and forth. Penguin's Bill Guerin scored an over time goal in game 6 to tie the series up at 3 a piece and opening the door to a pivotal game 7.

Game 7 was a battle that, like games 1 and 6, couldn't be decided in three periods. At the end of regulation the game was tied 1-1. That is until Blackhawk's Captain Jonathan Toews buried a shot in the back of the net to win the Cup for Chicago. With 4 goals in the series, game 1 hero Duncan Keith was named series MVP.

With EAs Madden 10 simulation being eerily close to the actual Super Bowl outcome, it will be very interesting so see how NHL 10 will do on this one. GameRant wishes all your teams the best of luck in this years playoffs, that is of course unless they are playing our teams. GO DEVILS!!!
