New World has been through a rocky first month since launch, mainly because of all the glitches and issues that have been affecting thousands of players. However, Amazon Game Studios has proven time and time again that it cares about its new MMO, to the point that it has been doing a lot of work to improve the situation in many different regards. For starters, the developer addressed the difficulty of New World's servers having long queue times by adding more servers within the span of two days, and the same trend has been going on ever since.

In fact, after the recent debates within the New World community that players were upset about others exploiting the Gold duplication glitch, Amazon shut down trading posts and all forms of wealth transfer to take care of the issue. The developer took a very clear stance against all forms of cheating in New World, and also started handing out permanent or temporary bans to all offenders. Then, more statements from Amazon came in regards to the current economy in the game, and possible solutions to improve it.

The Gold duplication glitch didn't help New World's internal economy to thrive, but rather it made some prices exceptionally low, as well as very diverse between different regions of Aeternum. As such, Amazon is going to be linking all trading posts with one another later this month, which will reduce the impact of constant travels and their corresponding fees on players who want to purchase certain items. This means that players can purchase anything from anywhere, with the only caveat that they will be paying taxes based on the settlement from which they'll be making the purchase.

Some New World players fear that this will make all prices drop to the current standards in Everfall, the most populated settlement in the game, but it could also mean the opposite of that. In fact, server-wide trading could mean that some prices will go up as a result because more players will be making purchases from the trading posts.

With Amazon's bans handed to all cheaters, including streamers who use exploits, and many changes to the current economy in New World, it's likely that players will be getting more coins than before - especially in the endgame. This is a good direction for the game, and it could prove to be one of the best changes to come to New World since launch.
