Nintendo might be working on a brand new WarioWare game. The company seemed to be hinting a new installment in the long-running series might be in the works, and even teased a potential price that seemed aimed at bringing the WarioWare style games to the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo last released a WarioWare title in 2018 for the Nintendo 3DS, marking a 15-year march through 10 installments and six different platforms. Since that game's release, the company has been mostly mum as to whether or not it might eventually bring the franchise over to its newest console. Now it appears the company might be planning just that.

On Tuesday evening, Twitch user Beta64, a well-known Nintendo aficionado, tweeted out a survey he said the company recently sent out. The user said that it was an official survey that was sent to his wife earlier in the day. While it's not clear how many questions or topics the survey actually covered, the one Beta64 zeroed in on was one about an interest in a new WarioWare game.

In particular, the company asked those who were taking the survey how interested they would be in playing a brand new WarioWare game. The form also asked whether or not the users would be willing to pay $49.99 for the next game. While that price could certainly be a game for the Nintendo DS, Beta64 posited that the form could be heralding an E3 reveal for the Nintendo Switch.

While Nintendo hasn't shared much information on what it will be showing off this summer, it is planning its own E3 showcase. Some in the gaming community have taken that news as an indication that it has some big news to share. The company did also say that most of the things it plans on showing off during the event will be launching later this year.

The biggest item that most Nintendo fans are expecting to see either right around, or during E3 this year, is a new model of the Switch. This new edition, which has long been referred to as the Switch Pro, is expected to be more powerful than the current version that's available. Over the last few weeks, various leaks from retailers seem to have confirmed some kind of new Switch console is coming. It would make some sense that this new console would come along with some brand new launch titles, which could potentially include the 11th installment in the WarioWare franchise.
