Mario's taller, slimmer sibling, Luigi, has his time to shine now and again. Some of his solo games have him saving his brother from immediate peril, with the Luigi's Mansion games being the prime example. Cowardly as he is, he braves unknown territory, fighting off ghosts with his Poltergust while searching for his missing brother.

With Luigi's Mansion 3 being released a few years ago, it gives fans another adventure of Luigi fending off the supernatural forces, as well as showcasing his bravery. To capitalize on that game's success and celebrate the spirit of Halloween, Nintendo and LEGO announced three brand-new Super Mario Luigi's Mansion LEGO sets.

Earlier this year, Luigi got his own LEGO set, which was a Starter course that allowed for fans to create their own adventures with several additional figures and features. The Luigi figure in particular can be powered by two AAA batteries that light up an LCD screen on his chest, where the images and sounds he make can vary based on what he interacts with or his movements. Other items include a flag pole and tower setpiece, which are staples of the Mario franchise.

In this new announcement trailer for the Luigi's Mansion-themed sets, the mustachioed green hero will be moving away from the comfort of green pastures and castle towers to sets based on the first game's locales. This includes one set where he'll be facing off against common, weaker, LEGO ghostly apparitions, and another where it has the villainous Boos. The biggest set in the center contains the game's big bad, King Boo.

While these sets include the ghoulish bosses like King Boo and Bogmire, Luigi isn't going alone, as several supporting characters from Luigi's Mansion are a part of these sets. One of them includes a painting of Toad that Luigi can find, as well as the scatterbrained but helpful Professor E. Gadd. Another set is even based on the good professor's laboratory, complete with a figure of the professor himself. These sets will also allow Luigi to be equipped with the trusty Poltergust to bust any ghosts that come his way.

The teaser trailer says that it will be "coming soon" with no release window right now. That said, with this new Lego toy set, it shows just how much attention Nintendo is giving to these Mario-themed collectibles. The last course that was released was based on Super Mario 64, and it shows that Nintendo is open to including other Mario games that can be used as a baseline for a LEGO set.

The Super Mario Luigi's Mansion LEGO sets are coming soon.
