A few other interesting gems are also on offer, including Telltale Games' Poker Night at the Inventory and Namco's Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom.

It is no overstatement to call Gran Turismo 5 the most anticipated PlayStation 3 game ever. The series has been a perennial powerhouse for Sony, racking up lifetime sales in excess of 55 million units, though a full-length new installment hasn't been released since 2005's PS2 entry, Gran Turismo 4. Gran Turismo 5 makes its long awaited debut  in a year when several excellent racing games have already been released, including Split/Second, Blur, and ModNation Racers (all of which underperformed at retail), not to mention the fantastic Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Does Sony's flagship game still have as much muscle in the marketplace as it once did? We'll know soon enough. Gran Turismo 5 will be available worldwide November 24, 2010

Another long absent game series makes its return this week when Donkey Kong Country Returns releases for the Ninetndo Wii. Developer Retro Studios seems to have zeroed in on what made the big ape's 16 bit adventures so much fun, and has wrapped it up in a visually attractive, challenging-looking package for today's gamers. As the last first-party Wii game of the year, Donkey Kong Country Returns has a lot to live up to. New Super Mario Bros. Wii, released at this time last year, has sold well over 10 million copies, and is currently one of the best selling games of 2010. Can Donkey Kong hope to match that kind of success? We'll find out when Donkey Kong Country Returns swings into stores November 21, 2010.

As always, we want to hear from you. What games are you picking up this week? What Black Friday deals are you hoping to take advantage of?
