Where It Snacks and Snoozes is a request in New Pokemon Snap that players can complete after they have gotten Florio Nature Park (Night) to Research Level 2. It centers around taking a good photo of a Heracross, though locating this Pokemon can prove to be slightly tricky. To start, before a player tries to tackle this request, they should first unlock Blue Illumina Orbs in New Pokemon Snap. This is done by taking a photo of the Crystabloom that is situated next to the sleeping Quagsire at the end of Founja Jungle (Night). Additionally, some fans indicate that they were not able to complete Where It Snacks and Snoozes without using Fluffruit, and players may thus want to unlock that item as well.
Once a New Pokemon Snap fan has earned at least the Blue Illumina Orbs, they should head to Florio Nature Park (Night) and scan not long after crossing the stone bridge near the beginning of the level. This action will cause a Pinsir's horns to emerge from a dirt pile on the left side of the path, and players should throw their Orbs at the Pokemon to force it out of the ground. When that occurs, fans should quickly scan multiples times to cause the Heracross to fall behind the Pinsir.
If a player is not able to make the Heracross appear using this method, then they should try throwing some Fluffruit behind the Pinsir before they perform the multiple scans. Indeed, this appears to be resolving some issues that are surrounding the Where It Snacks and Snoozes request, though it is not clear exactly why that is the case. Again, the use of Fluffruit should not be necessary for most players, and those that can get Heracross to visit with scans alone can ignore this section entirely.
Regardless of how a fan makes the Pokemon of interest show up, the next step is simply to take a picture of it. This is something that players should be very comfortable doing at this point in the game, though it is worth mentioning that the photo should focus on the Heracross and not the nearby Pinsir. Fans that follow this instruction should be able to easily get the picture that they need and complete the Where It Snacks and Snoozes request in Florio Nature Park (Night).
