In order to complete New Pokemon Snap's Triple Threat request, players will need to initiate a battle between a Yanmega and three Ariados. This can be done in the Founja Jungle (Night) course, and it requires that fans have access to Illumina Orbs and the Melody player. This guide contains full details on how these items are to be employed for Triple Threat, and New Pokemon Snap players that read on should find this request to be a breeze.

To note, the Triple Threat request can only be completed when Founja Jungle (Night) is set to Research Level 1. Players that have already increased the Research Level for this New Pokemon Snap course should thus make sure to select the correct one before they venture out. Fans that do not heed this warning will be unable to trigger the events that cause the Yanmega and Ariados to fight, and they will not be able to get the requisite picture as a result.

With that established, fans that are working on this request should make their way to the point in the Founja Jungle (Night) course where they can take the alternate route that leads into the swamp. For the uninitiated, this route is initially unlocked by throwing an Illumina Orb at the course's very first Crystabloom, and it can be taken in subsequent trips by using the Scan feature. That said, before a player heads into the swamp, they should use the Melody player to summon a Yanmega from the nearby bushes.

Once that occurs, fans should pass through the tall grass, and they will find several Ariados on the other side. Here, players should use the Melody player once more to attract the Yanmega and force an Ariados to emerge from a hole. New Pokemon Snap fans should then throw Illumina Orbs at these two Pokemon to get them fighting and then focus their cameras on the attacking Ariados to finish off the Triple Threat request.

For those players that are curious, there is no special reward associated with completing this request. Fans that tackle Triple Threat will end up with a four-star photo of an Ariados, though, and that alone may be enough incentive to get it done. Indeed, many players will undoubtedly be interested in taking perfect pictures of all of the Pokemon in New Pokemon Snap, and the Triple Threat request offers a small amount of assistance with that fairly significant endeavor.

New Pokemon Snap is available now on Nintendo Switch.
