New Pokemon Snap adds some more features that weren't in the original Nintendo 64 game. Requests are one of the elements of the game that has players snapping certain photos of Pokemon for the game's NPCs, like Rita and Professor Mirror. One request entitled "The Singing Dragon," requires players to take a photo of an Altaria that's singing. The first thing that players will need to complete this side quest, is to have access to Fireflow Volcano on the island of Voluca.

Once players have access to this fiery stage full of new Pokemon, they will need to go through it a few times until they reach research level 2 for Fireflow Volcano. They'll also need to use the Melody player, but they should already have that item if they're already this far into New Pokemon Snap.

The Singing Dragon Request in New Pokemon Snap

Once players get into the level and start the expedition, they'll immediately see a group of Altaria laying out in the water and a few flying above, but these are not the Altaria that will satisfy the request's conditions for Rita. Instead, players should wait until they reach the next area, which has a Monferno, Graveler, and Archeops. If players press the X button to scan the area, they'll spot an icon that says "you can hear some happy humming sounds." At this point, keep playing the Melody player sound and Altaria will soon begin to fly in the air together. The Altaria will begin to start singing, and this is the moment that players will want to capture on camera.

Players can see the moment in the image below:

After a couple of photos have been snapped, players can either quit the expedition early by going into the menu, or they can finish the stage to rack up even more research level points if need be. Once Professor Mirror is shown the special picture of the Altaria singing, the request will be completed. Also, it's worth noting that the picture of Altaria does not have to be a 4-star photo in order for the quest to be completed -- a 3-star picture will work just fine.

Finishing up the request will bring New Pokemon Snap players one step closer to fully completing the game and unlocking everything there is to get.

New Pokemon Snap is now available for the Nintendo Switch as an exclusive title.
