Many long time fans are eager to finally get their hands on New Pokemon Snap and re-live some of their favorite childhood memories. While not all of the original Pokemon Snap mechanics are implemented into the game, the new version still offers many new features that keep the game exciting.

One of the most important pro tips for fans to know is that there are a lot of different requests that give out decent rewards. However, some of these require gamers to capture the perfect picture of some Pokemon with incredibly quick reaction times.

Off to a Flying Startle Request Guide in New Pokemon Snap

The "Off To a Flying Startle" request is a task given by Rita after players have finished their first quest. It asks to take a picture of a Tailow in midflight in the Florio Nature Park (day) area. So for New Pokemon Snap fans needing assistance to snap the perfect pic, here are some tips on how to do so.

Unfortunately, while it is possible to complete this quest during the earlier levels, it might prove to be more beneficial to some to wait until Florio Nature Park is at research level 3 to attempt this task. There are multiple Tailow's along the route, but there is only one crucial moment to be able to complete this New Pokemon Snap request reliably. The other difficulty with this quest is the confusing title. There are multiple moments where Tailow gets startled and flies off, but this isn't what Rita is specifically asking players to get a picture of.

The specific moment gamers need to look out for is when they are in the middle of the stone bridge, past the Bidoof Dam area. Once the three Tailows will start flying around the player in a clockwise circle, immediately start taking as many photos as possible. If fans are lucky, one of the Tailow should stop in mid-air and look at the player with its mouth wide open. This is the exact moment where gamers need to capture a photo to complete this quest.

If players happen to miss this opportunity, they can still repeat the process when the Tailows circle again directly behind them. While it might be easier to take a picture of the Tailows when they are behind them, it does not score as many points if they were to do it when the Tailows are in front of them. Hopefully, this guide helps fans get the perfect photo to add to the collection.

New Pokemon Snap is now available for the Nintendo Switch as an exclusive title.
