Players will gain access to the Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap once they have reached researched level 2 in the daytime version of the course. There are 18 different types of Pokemon to find and photograph there and another 10 photo requests for players to complete on behalf of Professor Mirror and the rest of the research team.

Unlike the daytime version of the course, however, Jungle (Night) only has two research levels, meaning players should be able to unlock all of the requests fairly quickly. There are several that can only be completed at research level 1 though, so players will either need to tackle these ones early on or revert back to the default research level by hitting the X button on New Pokemon Snap's course select screen.

Bounsweet's Amazing Journey Request Guide

The Bounsweet's Amazing Journey request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

After players have reached research level 2, they'll find a pair of Bounsweet sleeping on a ledge on their left shortly after passing the first wave of Morelull. They'll need to wake them up using the Melody Player which will lead to the pair flying further along the main path and landing in a sleeping Ariados' web.

Once they have landed, players need to throw a Fluffruit at the Ariados so that it wakes up. Usually it would just go back to sleep, but upon noticing the two Bounsweet it instead decides to attack. Players have about two seconds to capture the encounter on camera if they want to complete the Bounsweet's Amazing Journey request and will need to be sure that both Pokemon are somewhere in the shot that they hand in to Professor Mirror.

Arbok Falls, Asleep Request Guide

The Arbok Falls, Asleep request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

Players can take on the Arbok Falls, Asleep request as soon as they have unlocked the Melody Player. In fact, it's one of several requests in the Jungle (Night) course that can only be completed at research level 1. With that in mind, if players have already past this point, they'll need to press the X button on the course select screen and choose the default research level of the course.

The Arbok they're looking for is sleeping up on a branch at the very beginning of the course, although waking it isn't easy. It will take at least five Fluffruit hits to do so and players will need to be ready to take a picture of the moment it finally falls. If successful, the Arbok will show up again beneath players as they pass over the ancient ruins, although the photo Phil wants is of the Arbok falling.

Resting Its Wings Request Guide

The Resting Its Wings request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

To complete the Resting Its Wings request, players will need to get a photo of a sleeping Yanmega. At research level 1 this isn't possible, but once players have hit research level 2 it becomes one of the easiest requests in the game. Not only do players not need to do anything to make it happen, but the photo can actually be taken within about ten seconds of entering the course.

One of the first things that players will see in Jungle (Night) is a Liepard and directly above this on a branch is a sleeping Yanmega. There's another one further along the route too, although there's really no need to seek it out given how easy the first one is to find. The only thing players do need to be weary of is that the Melody Player will wake Yanmega up, so they should avoid using it until after they've gotten the photo.

Tree-Dwelling Pokemon Request Guide

The Tree-Dwelling Pokemon request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

After players reach research level 2 in Jungle (Night), the Morelull near the ancient ruins are replaced by Toucannon and Pikipek. If players look to their left shortly after the NEO-ONE starts traveling over the branches, they should see a Crystabloom in one of the Toucannon's nests and hitting this three times with Illumina Orbs will cause all of the birds to take flight.

To complete the Tree-Dwelling Pokemon request, players should get a shot of Toucannon when it first leaves the nest. It's a four star photo, but in subsequent runs players can get a much better one by repeating this process and then waiting until near the very end of the course for the birds to show up again.

Triple Threat Request Guide

The Triple Threat request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

Like Arbok Falls, Asleep, the Triple Threat request can only be fulfilled at research level 1. Players will need to use the Melody Player just before the swamp section until a Yanmega flies past on their right and then do so again shortly after entering the swamp until it shows up again and the two Ariados start hissing. It's important not to focus the camera on the nearby Ledian while the Melody Player is active here, as doing so will wake them and prevent the Yanmega from appearing.

Once the Yanmega and Ariados start fighting a third Ariados will come out of the bushes and players should hit it with an Illumina Orb so that it uses Silk Shot. They'll need to get a picture of this moment while also making sure that Yanmega is somewhere in the shot. In subsequent runs, hitting Yanmega with the Illumina Orb instead will cause it to win the fight and lighting the Illumina Orb beneath the waterfall near the end of the course will lead to a swarm of Yanmega flying in for a four star photo.

Tonight's Dinner Request Guide

The Tonight's Dinner request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

The Tonight's Dinner Request can be completed once players have reached research level 2. To do so, they'll need to capture a photograph of a Morelull eating a Fluffruit, but despite the course being full of them, there's only one spot in which they will actually eat. To find it, players will need to get behind the waterfall by using Illumina Orbs and the Melody Player to move the Liepard from the rock near the end of the ancient ruins section.

After it has cleared off, players will be able to perform a scan to get behind the waterfall and will immediately find some Morelull in front of them as they enter. Any one of them will eat Fluffruit, so players should throw some down and then take a picture when they start eating. If they miss the entrance to the waterfall or don't move the Liepard in time, it is possible to get the shot from the main jungle area providing players can aim their Fluffruit well enough.

Where's the Fruit? Request Guide

The Where's The Fruit? request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

Players will need to be playing at research level 2 in order to complete the Where's the Fruit? request. They should make their way to the swamp area while being sure not hit Leafeon with a Fluffruit and then use scan to take the alternate route. Upon passing through the reeds, they will see a Slaking directly in front of them and should start using the scan function to make it move.

Slaking will stop moving after every couple of steps, so players need to continue using scan every few seconds to keep driving it forwards. Eventually, it will arrive at Pikipek's tree and begin helping itself to the fruit inside. Players will need to get a shot of it eating the fruit or reaching inside the tree to get it in order to fulfill the request. Both of these shots will also count as four star photos of Slaking.

A Figure of Beauty Request Guide

The A Figure of Beauty request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

The A Figure of Beauty request can only be completed on research level 1, so players will once again need to hit X on the course select screen if they've already hit research level 2 or max level. Upon starting the course, they'll need to wake the sleeping Arbok by pelting it with Fluffruit and then hit the Liepard in the bushes to the right with an Illumina Orb. Then, after passing over a tree branch in the path, they'll need to look for another Liepard sleeping in a tree directly in front of them and use the Melody Player to wake it up.

If all of these steps are completed, sticking to the default route will now lead to an encounter with a pack of Liepard to the right of the swamp area. Hitting any one of them with an Illumina Orb will cause them all to stand on their hind legs and snapping a picture of this will be enough to complete Rita's request. As a nice bonus, it also counts as a four star photo of Liepard.

Why So Still? Request Guide

The Why So Still? request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

While playing the course on research level 2, players will need to hit Leafeon with a Fluffruit when it stops in front of the entrance to the swamp to make it run in. Next, they'll need to scan the route and follow it through where they'll find the Pokemon standing near three hanging Ariados. Using the Melody Player will cause them to drop and Leafeon will get scared and wake up the sleeping Swampert.

Players will need to photograph the moment that Swampert starts splashing Leafeon to fulfill the Why So Still? request although can also get a four star photo of Leafeon laughing and playing at the same time. There are arguably better four star photo opportunities for the latter, but for those just looking to fill a page in their Photodex, this one should be as good as any.

An Unusual Spot Request Guide

The An Unusual Spot request in The Founja Jungle (Night) course in New Pokemon Snap

In order to complete the An Unusual Spot request for Todd, players will need to be playing on research level 2. Rather than taking the swamp route, players should follow the path round to the right and look for a Liepard sleeping on a cliff behind a pair of Toucannon. Hitting it with Illumina Orbs and Fluffruit will cause it to follow players out to the branches and get one of its pack members to knock the NEO-ONE down to the ground below.

Once here, players should illuminate the nearby Crystabloom to summon a pack of Ledian and then look for the one that's walking around instead of flying. Throwing some Fluffruit near it will cause it to eat and capturing the moment on camera will fulfill Todd's request. For a four star photo of Ledian, however, players will instead need to wake the three sleeping Ledian in the starting and swamp areas with the Melody Player and hit them all with Illumina Orbs to make them show up at the end of the course.
