A Terrific Yawn Request Guide (How to Make Torterra Yawn) in New Pokemon Snap
As players travel through Florio Nature Park, they will eventually come across many sleeping Torterra. If players simply watch them, they will not yawn on their own. Because of this, players will need to make them with their own hands.
While near a sleeping Torterra, players will need to throw a Fluffruit at a Torterra and make sure it makes contact with them. This will stir the Torterra awake where it will briefly yawn before going back to sleep. Players should have their cameras focused on Torterra as soon as they throw the Fluffruit so they don't miss the timing.
After taking the photo, players will need to submit it to Professor Mirror at the end of the course. If taken correctly, the photo will be worth four stars and fulfill the request.
With how many Torterra there are throughout Florio Nature Park at night there are multiple opportunities in the course for players to get a photo of Torterra yawning. It isn't even the only Pokemon to provide a high ranking photo if photographed after waking up. Some Pokemon may simply yawn and go back to sleep like Torterra while others may get aggressive toward the player and show off an attack. Experimentation is key for players looking to completely fill out their Photodex.
