The Switch has grown a large library of games that span from Nintendo's newest first-party titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to ports of older titles like The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Nintendo makes sure that the library is always growing with seasonal releases of some of their biggest titles as well as a healthy offering of third party games as well. With Summer 2021 starting this month, it looks to be another season packed with some big releases for the Nintendo Switch.

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection bundles together remastered ports of three of the most popular entries in the infamously difficult Ninja Gaiden series. The bundle includes Ninja Gaiden SigmaNinja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge to be a great way for fans of the series to return to their favorites while also telling the start of the story for any new players. The game allows players to take on harrowing missions as the iconic Ryu Hayabusa as they perform intricate combos with the game's multiple weapons and abilities. The bundle also includes all of the previously released game modes and cosmetic DLCs, as well as letting players fight as four additional characters.

Mario Golf: Super Rush

Mario Golf: Super Rush could very well see the revival of Mario-themed sports games on Switch. Nintendo has remained a tad tight-lipped on what all is included in the new golf game, but it has revealed that it includes three modes. For solo players, there is an RPG-like story mode that sees players rising through the ranks of the gold world with a customized Mii character. There are also two multiplayer modes. One is a more traditional golf experience while another is a frantic speed mod that sees players racing to reach their balls after hitting them. With motion and button controls, as well as local and online multiplayer, Mario Golf: Super Rush is the revival the Mario Sports games have needed.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is the second in a series of spin-offs of Capcom's extremely popular Monster Hunter series. While the Switch just recently got Monster Hunter RiseMonster Hunter Stories 2 looks to bring an entirely different experience to the console set in the Monster Hunter universe. Rather than mastering a weapon to take down some of Monster Hunter's most ferocious monsters in action-RPG combat, this spin-off puts players in the shoes of a Monster Rider that befriends monsters and fights alongside them in turn-based combat. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin gives fans a whole new way to experience the world of Monster Hunter, and is also a great jumping-on point for players who want a different combat experience from the mainline games.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD brings one of the classic series' most innovative entries to the Nintendo Switch with new graphics and features. Not only does the HD remaster update the motion controls of the original Skyward Sword, but it also introduces a new control scheme for playing in handheld mode or on the Switch Lite. The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD's remaster work is extensive and brings the original Wii title to the modern age with improved visuals, load times, and a new amiibo figure featuring Zelda riding one of the game's iconic Loftwing mounts.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles marks the first western release of the spin-off of the courtroom series Ace Attorney. The game bundles both The Great Ace Attorney titles together, and lets players travel across Victorian London and Japan solving mysteries and participating in courtroom battles. The spin-off series introduces a varied cast of new characters, like Herlock Sholmes. For players new to the series, it also features a new assistance feature that will give players who find themselves at a dead-end in an investigation a hint or two to help them keep going.

No More Heroes 3

It has been almost 10 years since the last No More Heroes title released, but No More Heroes 3 is coming this summer to rectify that. Created and developed by cult game developer Goichi "Suda51" Suda, No More Heroes 3 is a bombastic, irreverent action game that follows the protagonist Travis Touchdown fighting against an alien invasion. The series is well-loved for its witty story-telling as well as No More Heroes' frantic action gameplay. The new entry in the series features motion controls utilizing the Joy-Cons as well as an all-new Skill Tree for players to customize their fighting style with a variety of skills and professional wrestling techniques.

Spelunky 2 was one of the highest-rated indie games of last year and is the sequel to the classic roguelike platformer. It sees players diving into the caves of the Moon in search of treasure and their missing family. With completely procedurally generated levels, no run in Spelunky 2 is the same as players find new gear to escape the enemies and hazards of the Moon's caves with up to three friends. Spelunky 2 expands greatly on the long list of items, traps, and enemies in the first game to create an even more diverse, varied, and intricate experience for players with loads of new interactions, characters, and areas.

The story focuses on two of the era's most well-known military leaders, Nobunaga Oda and Mitsuhide Akechi, and brings the series to the new generation of gaming with improved gameplay and graphics. With strategic action, evolving enemy militaries, and a variety of different ways to play every mission, Samurai Warriors 5 offers fans of the series an entirely new and replayable way to experience the series.
