Slated to launch this fall, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is shaping up to be a nostalgic goldmine for fans of the channel's most seminal shows, allowing players to go head to head as a range of classic characters. From Danny Phantom and Nigel Thornberry to Powdered Toast Man and SpongeBob SquarePants, the roster already looks stacked with huge names, yet few are as iconic as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will feature two members of the beloved four-turtle team as well as one of their most iconic companions, with Leonardo, Michelangelo, and April O'Neil leaping into battle. For those wanting to know exactly how the trio will fight when they're selected in the game, Ludosity Fair Play Labs has them covered, releasing new deep dives into the move sets of both reptilian ninjas and their fearless investigative reporter ally.

Found over on the GameMill Entertainment YouTube channel, the first video aired earlier this week, offering a look at Leonardo's playstyle. According to the clip, the leader of the Ninja Turtles is a fast-paced aggressor that can pepper his foes with a barrage of quick, low-damage attacks using his dual katanas, with his move set mostly focusing on speed and maneuverability. The showcase ends with a battle between Leonardo and SpongeBob, showing how the ninja can quickly move across the stage and spike foes off the side.

Meanwhile, Michaelangelo specializes in juggling enemies to deal massive damage. Referred to as a rushdown fighter, the jokey turtle gets up close and personal with his enemies, using a grappling hook to pull them in and sliding on his shell to deal massive damage. Michelangelo can even use pizza as a weapon, throwing his favorite food at foes as a projectile. Both turtles come with their own stages, with players able to fight in their home sewer or inside the Technodrome, which features a fun appearance from long-time TMNT baddie, Krang.

Finally, April O'Neil's move set revolves around building up "ratings" to deliver a massive killing blow, with the character able to use her camera and microphone to bully opponents. The video describes her as glass cannon, with plenty of high-damage abilities but fewer defensive moves. It seems players will want to focus on using certain attacks to build April's ratings meter, setting up the opportune time to unleash a finisher known as "Breaking News," which can be exceptionally powerful depending on how much power they've amassed. It looks similar to Little Mac's KO punch in Super Smash Bros, with players storing power before releasing a powerful knockout blow.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is slated to launch on October 5 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
