Darksiders 3 released just this past November, and while the game received polarizing reviews, hardcore fans were no doubt happy to see a new game in the series, whose fate has never been quite certain. Now it appears that fans of the franchise have even more to look forward to, as a brand new Darksiders game is now confirmed to be announced at E3 2019.

The existence of a new Darksiders has been revealed by an E3 Coliseum panel description. On Thursday, June 13 at 10:30am PT, fans can tune in to learn about the Darksiders universe in general, as well as where the franchise is headed next. new darksiders game confirmed for e3 2019

This isn't the first time that we've heard of a new Darksiders game for E3 2019. A week ago, THQ Nordic's E3 2019 plans leaked online, revealing that the company is set to announce new entries in some of its most popular franchises, including Darksiders and Destroy All Humans.

The new Darksiders game will reportedly be called Darksiders: Genesis, which seems to suggest it may be an origin story of some kind. We should find out definitively once the new Darksiders game is announced at E3 2019, in addition to which studio is working on the project and what platforms it will be on.

Anyone looking forward to the new Darksiders game from THQ Nordic should be sure to tune in to the Darksiders E3 2019 Coliseum panel on June 13 at 10:30am PT.

A new Darksiders game is in development for unspecified platforms.
