The excitement surrounding the next Battlefield game from DICE has reached a fever pitch as of late, thanks to the studio's confirmation that a reveal is finally coming in June. Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson and CFO Blake Jorgensen followed suit during an earnings call revealing a few more details, namely that Battlefield 6 would be a cross-generation game, though the next-gen version would "feel special" while coming with its own enhancements over the PS4 and Xbox One versions.

Prior to the announcement tease, rumors and leaks for Battlefield 6 had been a constant occurrence, coming almost on a weekly basis. While there's been no confirmation from EA or DICE, nearly every aspect to Battlefield 6 was mentioned including the game not launching with a campaign, a unique take on the controversial SBMM system, to it being a next-gen only game, a rumor which has since been debunked completely. However, with fans eagerly awaiting the reveal trailer, new images have appeared online that appear to be taken directly from the upcoming footage.

The latest batch of images seemingly ripped from Battlefield 6 arrived via Tom Henderson's discord server by a reputable leaker. Each of the six images features a large watermark over the screenshot, which appears to be taken directly from the as yet to be released trailer, if the post's title is any indication. The first set shows a rocket taking off with troops on the ground around it. A tropical island with Osprey aircraft and what appears to be an abandoned car is also visible.

A second set of images entitled "supposed leaks" shows off some sort of explosion, the game's Battlefield logo screen, and what appears to be some sort of flying device, possibly a close up of a drone. Another screen capture shows Tom Henderson leaving a comment that his Discord is likely going to get banned now due to the leaked images being post. Still, Henderson did take to Twitter to remind folks that leaks should be taken with a grain of salt as things can rapidly change during development and not everything reported ends up as 100% fact.

This isn't the first time images from Battlefield 6 have seemingly leaked early. There have been multiple instances of similar situations taking place over the past month including images showing a similar tropical island and another which appeared to be inside of a plane that the player was flying complete with a HUD. While still unconfirmed, players seem to agree that if these were fake, the person spent a lot of time and effort into making them look legit. What's even more interesting is that before the images really took off via Imgur, they were seemingly posted two weeks prior on Reddit and largely overlooked.

Battlefield 6 is currently in development.
