For the second year in a row, Netflix will host a global event to showcase some of its most highly-anticipated and ambitious productions at the upcoming TUDUM, including The Witcher and Stranger Things. The event will be hosted by some of the streamer's biggest stars in less than a couple of weeks.

The announcement was shared via Netflix's official Twitter account under the same banner of “A Netflix Global Fan Event” as the previous one, with the special presentation coming this September 24 at 10:00 am PT. The trailer also features a wide range of stars such as Charlize Theron, Jamie Foxx, Chris Hemsworth, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Henry Cavill, among others. Also included are international actors like Squid Game's Emmy winner Lee Jung-jae, Money Heist's Pedro Alonso, and Michelle Yeoh, since the event will cater to the streamer’s Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese and Japanese-speaking users too.

Among the key show that has a spot confirmed on TUDUM are Elite, Emily In Paris, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure Stone Ocean, Lupin, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, Shadow and Bone, and The Crown. That said, the headliners will probably be Bridgerton, Squid Game, Stranger Things, The Umbrella Academy, and The Witcher. In the latter’s case, it’s unlikely fans will get a full Witcher trailer just yet, seeing as the series just finished filming, but Cavill and Yeoh's presence does at least suggest news about the Blood Origin prequel, especially given that show’s own Twitter account is teasing possible updates.

On the movies side, Enola Holmes 2, Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, Guillermo De Toro's Pinocchio, and The Old Guard 2 will probably lead the line. However, Netflix has at least 22 confirmed titles for the day, some of which are named in the TUDUM preview. Perhaps the most surprising aspect included is the fact that Netflix will save some room for its gaming offerings, the company’s new product line that hasn’t drawn much attention since its launch.

Stranger Things fans should also keep an eye out on TUDUM, as practically the entire cast will show up for hosting duties, thus pointing either at some never before seen content or more season 5 teases than what the showrunners have already put forward. Squid Game season 2 is also bound to grab many folks’ attention considering the series’ unprecedented success on a worldwide scale currently makes it one of Netflix's most appealing and intriguing properties, due to how it ended.

TUDUM: A Netflix Global Fan Event will stream on September 24, 2022.
