Today's PlayStation 5 reveal event was packed with major reveals, including the announcement of Horizon: Forbidden West and Resident Evil 8. However, a healthy amount of games from smaller studios were also shown off, such as a stylized survival-based action RPG called Little Devil Inside.

Developer Neostream began the project on Kickstarter, raising 306,515 Australian dollars in 2015, and its website currently lists the game as coming to Linux, Mac, PC, PS4, Wii U, and Xbox One. The showcase trailer for the PlayStation 5 "Future of Gaming" stream confirms it is now a PS4 and 5 timed exclusive that will also release on PC, and in an update on the original Kickstarter page Neostream said "we are ever more confident in accomplishing and delivering what we set out to do."

Little Devil Inside features a charmingly simple polygonal art style that helps bring a variety of normal and chimera-like creatures to life, ranging from bears and bats to wyverns with chicken features and bipedal elephants with wings. The game will have a semi-open world according to the description of the trailer uploaded to PlayStation's YouTube account, and seems like a somewhat more comedic version of titles like Capcom's Monster Hunter in a Victorian-era setting.

Overall the game looks like it should be fun, and stands out next to big reveals like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. With the sheer variety shown off in today's stream, the PS5 promises to have a great first few years worth of games.

Little Devil Inside is in development for PC, PS4, and PS5 with more platforms planned.
