Today Activision and Marvel announced that the voice of Spider-Man in the upcoming Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions game will be none other than Neil Patrick Harris (or NPH as the" internets" like to call him). Of the four Spider-Men in the game, Harris will be voicing the role of the original Amazing Spider-Man.

This isn't Harris' first time stepping into the voice of Spider-Man, as he previously voiced the role in 2003's "Spider-Man: The New Animated Series," which was broadcast on MTV.

Shattered Dimensions will act as a reunion of sorts for several previous Spider-Man voice actors. While Harris is the most prominently known, he isn't the only one reprising the role. The game includes three other voice actors who were the voices of Spidey once before.

Josh Keaton, who was responsible for the most recent cartoon, "The Spectacular Spider-Man," will be the voice of the Ultimate Spider-Man. Dan Gilvezan, who lent his talents to the early 80's cartoon "Spiderman and his Amazing Friends," will be the voice of Spider-Man 2099. Last, but certainly not least, Christopher Daniel Barnes of the 90's "Spider-Man," which happens to be my favorite incarnation of all of the animated Spider-Man series, will take the reins of Spider-Man Noir.

As an added bonus, the legend of Marvel comics himself, Stan Lee will act as the game's narrator.

So, will this Spider-Man voice actor reunion act as an another incentive for you guys to buy the game? Which voice actor is your favorite?

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension is set to release September 7th for the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, and DS.
