'NCAA Football 12' Trailer and 'Road To Glory' Campaign Details

NCAA Football 12 Road to Glory Trailer and Details

One reason to coming back to EA Sports' NCAA Football franchise is the deep single player "campaign" that is "Road To Glory." This year EA has expanded this mode in some very interesting ways.

In the past, you would take over your player during the High School State Championship Tournament. This year, in NCAA Football 12, gamers will take over the player at the beginning of his senior year of high school - and play a seven to twelve game schedule.

Another added feature is that during the high school season you'll be able to choose an offensive and defensive position and play both in the same game. This is something that is very common in real life - and adds that extra kick of realism. It can also lead to some interesting new achievement such as catching a touchdown pass and intercepting a pass for a touchdown in the same game.

However, the most promising new feature of "Road To Glory" is the ability to earn your coach's trust. Once you earn it, you will be able to choose from a selection of plays - rather than being forced into the play the coach has called for you.

All in all, the advancements being put into this years "Road To Glory" mode are really exciting. I for one can't wait to create myself as quarterback as well as a ball-hawking safety, or maybe even a power running-back that also can be a dominant left defensive end.

The upgrades in NCAA and Madden NFL 12 are setting up this year to be one of the best in football game history. What do you have to say? I'd love to hear your comments below.

NCAA Football 12 comes out on July 12th for the PS3 and Xbox 360, but you can get your hands on the demo on June 28th.
