How To Recruit A Player
- Reach a high enough level to acquire the desired player.
- Find and defeat the desired player in a mini-game.
At the start, gamers won't be able to recruit most of the players they find. Each athlete has a level and gamers will have to be at that rank or higher to recruit the player in question. Play games, do some warm-ups, and level up to recruit more players.
When finding a player who is able to be recruited, approach them, then tap their icon and play a mini-game. Those who win the mini-game will recruit the player to their team. The game is complicated, but compared to some of the best mobile strategy games out there, recruiting players isn't too hard.
Be warned that players gained this way will keep their stars but lose their ranks. For example, beating a two-star player at level seven will give gamers the two-star player at level one. Although it will require some credits to level the player up, gaining an extra star is a big deal and key to making it into the late game.
Unless this mobile game gets controller support, players are going to need to be mobile and good on the taps to win in a mini-game. Better players make these mini-games easier. Keep this in mind at the start because it means better players will make the game easier. Get through the early game and find the fun later on.
