While NBA 2K22's reception has been middling, its popularity hasn't appeared to have waned as a result. Visual Concepts and 2K Sports have, in turn, continued to robustly support NBA 2K22 with post-launch content with a focus on its seasonal rewards and challenges. Now 2K Sports is ready to move into the next season of NBA 2K22, announcing that Season 6: Zero Gravity will officially begin on April 8 and will feature a variety of new content for MyTEAM and MyCAREER.Those who enjoy NBA 2K22's MyCAREER game mode, which puts players in the shoes of their own custom NBA player as they live out their basketball journey, will be excited to know a wave of new rewards will soon be added. Season 6: Zero Gravity will introduce 40 additional levels to progress through for the season's duration, tasking players with completing a variety of new quests "in search of the best competition in the galaxy." This season's Level 40 reward is a Bunny Suit, which may not fit the season's sci-fi theme but is still a fun cosmetic to earn.RELATED: NBA 2K22 Releases New Dark Matter Vince Carter Along With Metamorphosis PackOn the MyTEAM front, NBA 2K22's gacha card collecting game mode, 99 Dark Matter reward cards will be added for Season 6: Zero Gravity. Additionally, a final Moments of the Month Agenda is currently ongoing, ending April 12 and allowing players to earn a Dark Matter Ja Morant. When the NBA playoffs start, however, there will be new Lifetime Agenda Groups instead. These groups will task players with matching stat lines, playing through playoffs with their own collections. Moment Cards will then be rewarded for teams that progress in the playoffs.

There will also be 25 new reward players released for My Team in Season 6: Zero Gravity. These 25 cards will be released as 25 daily rewards. Starting April 11, players will earn a 74-overall Gold Giannis Antetokounmpo card. NBA 2K22 players will then use that card to earn the next day's reward by completing an Agenda. Each day will require the reward from the previous day, with cards for Lonzo Bell, Shaquille O’Neal, Luka Dončić, Devin Booker, and Smush Parker.

What makes the MyTEAM daily rewards so attractive, however, is that those who participate through the entire 5-week journey will have a chance at a truly special Dark Matter card. The final reward is confirmed to be a 99-overall Dark Matter card. So while players don't have to play every single day, they aren't going to want to fall too far behind lest they miss out on the final prize.

There's a ton more planned for NBA 2K22 Season 6: Zero Gravity, too. Collecting 4,000 cards will reward an Invincible Dark Mater Dirk Nowitzki card, for example. There will also be a variety of new rewards in The W Online to celebrate the start of the WNBA's new season. Expect all this and more when NBA 2K22 Season 6: Zero Gravity starts on April 8.

NBA 2K22 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
