The massive list of affected players experienced either an increase or decrease in their overall rating. The update also takes into account the latest real-life performances of each player on the court, be it positive or negative.In total, 118 players have new overall ratings, and 48 of them saw a drop, anywhere from one point to Darius Garland's and Dwight Howard's minus-3. The monthly update leaves no stone unturned, and 2K Games is constantly hard at work with ensuring NBA 2K22 player ratings are balanced and reflect what occurs in the NBA.The most notable increase goes to Utah Jazz Jordan Clarkson, who was given an 8-point bump to an 85 overall. The San Antonio native put up 45 points on the board last weekend, so it was only a matter of time before his overall received a boost. Trae Young's 5-point increase brings him to a 95 overall, while Kevin Durant is up to 97, three points up from his original 94 rating. The improved ratings affect each player's abilities and statistics within modes like recently-updated MyCareer and MyTeam modes.
From the list, 43 players received a one-point increase to their totals, with a handful of players making the jump from the 70s into the 80s. 2K Games is wasting no time with both player ratings and new introductions into the game, including the debut of Paolo Banchero into NBA 2K22 a few weeks ago.
