The NBA 2K20 release date arrived at the end of last week, and players are now finding a myriad of issues with Visual Concepts' newest basketball simulation video game. Some of these issues revolve around the title's microtransactions, which have contributed to a massive NBA 2K20 review bomb, but fans have encountered a number of bugs and glitches as well. One such bug is the NBA 2K20 rep glitch, which prevents players from gaining the reputation they need in order to earn rewards and unlock badges.

How to Fix NBA 2K20 Rep Glitch

Unfortunately for those that are currently experiencing a glitch with the NBA 2K20 rep system, there does not appear to be a consistent fix at this time. That said, the video below outlines a number of methods to try when attempting to fix the NBA 2K20 rep glitch. Indeed, some players indicate that they have found success with one of these three methods, and fans that are encountering the bug with NBA 2K20 MyREP Progression may thus want to give them a try.

The first method to try is to visit the NBA 2K20 Team Practice Facility and complete any drills that might be available. The Team Practice Facility is where players unlock the NBA 2K20 Jumpshot Creator, and some suggest that completing the drills there has fixed the rep system for them.

The second method, which the creator of the video indicates worked to fix the NBA 2K20 rep bug for them, begins by creating a brand new player. Once this new player has been created, fans will need to complete the first game with them and then reload their main player. They may find that MyREP Progression is functional again after doing so.

The final method outlined in the video is to play one game in MyTEAM mode, not to be confused with NBA 2K20 MyCAREER mode, and then reload the player affected by the rep bug. Again, many fans are not having success with this method, but frustrated players may want to give it a try to see if they have better luck.
