Naughty Dog's collaborations with Sony have produced some of gaming's most seminal franchises and characters for PlayStation. Further, Naughty Dog's franchises have grown so immense in popularity that they have started the transition to movie and television efforts with live-action adaptations.

Naughty Dog Co-President Neil Druckmann wrapped work on The Last of Us' HBO TV series a couple of months back and the focus has once more shifted to Sony's Uncharted movie. However, other unannounced titles from the developer are kept under lock and key and no word has been shared on them as of yet. Recently, Druckmann's appearance at a high profile tech conference teased some exciting news for Naughty Dog fans.

Druckmann made a brief appearance at CES 2022 with a pre-recorded video. In it, Druckmann reflects upon Sony's live-action Uncharted adaptation and offers praise to how well he believes it marries faithful narrative beats from Uncharted's fortune-hunter franchise with a fresh spin for brand-new audiences. Much of Druckmann's time at CES 2022 revolves around this praise, though the Co-President ends off on a note that teases "multiple game projects in the works" from Naughty Dog.

Word about Naughty Dog working on multiple new titles may not be a complete surprise as it was reportedly confirmed through the acknowledgement of Naughty Dog's previous job listings, which mentioned the plural of "upcoming AAA games." Speculation always circles these notices and fans have tried to determine what this could mean for Naughty Dog's future, such as if a return to Uncharted or The Last of Us is in store in some capacity.

Otherwise, the developer could be entering new territory with a brand-new IP or an installment from another franchise as part of a different collaborative effort. Nonetheless, fans of Naughty Dog's games are sure to be pleased that new titles are on their way alongside the movie and television adaptations of Uncharted and The Last of Us. Prior teases, such as the tease of Naughty Dog's next game in Druckmann's own Twitter biography, have certainly generated anticipation.

Without confirmation or any official announcement from Naughty Dog or Neil Druckmann on what these upcoming titles may entail, fans are meant to wait longer for more information about these newly disclosed projects. Druckmann states that he and Naughty Dog are "dying to share" news about these unannounced titles, however, so players should anticipate more to be shared about them this year.
