Naruto is one of the greatest series ever made, featuring incredible world-building coupled with a cast of amazing and memorable characters who have become legendary in their own right. Watching the once-shunned and despised Jinchuuriki ascend the ranks to achieve the approval and adoration of the Leaf Village, all the way to his meteoric rise as Hokage easily serves as one of the greatest underdog stories of all time.

Another character from the show whose fate was intertwined with Naruto in the best way possible is Hinata, a character who was quite likable in her own right as well. The shy Hyuga overcame all barriers to proclaim her love for Naruto in what is easily one of the best moments of the show by a country mile.

Here are ten things that happened to Naruto's partner after the manga ended its run.

10 She Knitted A Scarf For Naruto

In The Last: Naruto The Movie, the romance of Naruto and Hinata becomes a major highlight as one tries to convey their bottled-up feelings to the other.

Hinata was glad that she had a support system in the form of Sakura, who convinced her to make a scarf for Naruto as a way to show just how much she really loved him.

9 Her Sister Was Kidnapped By Toneri Otsutsuki

The antagonist of The Last: Naruto The Movie was a man by the name of Toneri Otsutsuki, who tried his hardest to kidnap Hinata in a bid to steal her Byakugan and unlock the Tenseigan.

However, his efforts were thwarted by Naruto, and he ended up kidnapping Hanabi instead. Of course, the fact that Toneki himself developed feelings for Hinata definitely plays a major role here as well.

8 She Was Ready To Marry Toneri To Save Her Sister

Regardless of how much Hinata loved Naruto, there's no denying the fact that she was dedicated to her family and would've done anything in her power to ensure that no harm befell Hanabi.

So, when Toneri ended up asking for her hand in marriage, Hinata found a golden opportunity to secure her sister's safety and jumped upon this opportunity — a decision that aggrieved Naruto.

7 She Shared Her First Kiss With Naruto

However, as is the case with most arcs post the war, everything was finally resolved and Toneri realized the error of his ways — posts a brilliant battle, that is.

This allowed Naruto and Hinata to finally get together and declare their feelings out in the open, which led to them kissing for the first time as well.

6 She Got Married To Naruto

Anyone who's seen Boruto or the episodes post the Fourth Shinobi World War arc would be well aware of the fact that Naruto and Hinata eventually ended up marrying each other — the perfect relationship whose seeds had been sown since the first few chapters of Naruto.

Watching these two ninjas finally end up together is a marvelous sight that served as a treat for fans who had following Naruto since the early goings.

5 She Had Two Children

The couple settled into a normal life in Konoha, with Naruto ascending to the rank of Hokage... but not before starting his own family, that is.

Hinata and Naruto had Boruto and Himawari in the span of two years, signaling the onset of a new generation of shinobi that would rise to tell their own tale and cement themselves as legends in the making.

4 Her Father And Sister Became Doting Relatives

If there's one thing that's positively endearing about Hinata, it's the fact that her father and sister were genuinely enthused about her marriage and children, regardless of how tumultuous the history of the Hyuga clan might've been.

This can be seen in the fact that both Hiashi and Hanabi end up obsessing over both Boruto and Himawari when they ended up at their grandparents' house after Boruto's declaration that he'd unlocked the Byakugan. It's a humanizing moment for both these characters... not to mention a hilarious one as well.

3 She Ended Up Developing A Massive Temper

The biggest change Hinata experienced as a character after Naruto ended its run was that she ended up developing a massive temper that intimidated everyone in the family... including the Seventh Hokage himself.

There's a reason why both Naruto and Boruto get scared of Hinata when they end up crossing a line — Hinata had no problems with throwing them out or giving them both a verbal lashing whenever her temper was triggered. In a way, it's a motherly trait that completely suits Hinata's character as well.

2 She Was Injured When She Tried To Save Naruto From The Otsutsukis

The destruction of the Otsutsukis didn't end with Toneri himself — Kinshiki and Momoshiki also tried their hardest to extract the power of the Tailed Beasts in order to accomplish their own goals. This resulted in Naruto's kidnapping during the last leg of the Chunin Exams — something that Hinata tried to prevent with all her might, but resulted in her getting grievously injured instead.

Thankfully, her son ended up being dependable enough to rescue his father, causing Hinata to reminisce about a simple time when a young Naruto was just as enthusiastic... and reliable.

1 A Younger Version Of Her Met Boruto

Hinata in Naruto

During the events of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, both Sasuke and Boruto end up traveling to the past, around the same time when Sasuke ended up betraying the village after he sided with Orochimaru in order to attain greater power.

During this arc, Boruto ended up meeting many figures from the past... including his own mother, as well. Surprisingly enough, Hinata was able to talk rather candidly with Boruto — something that was quite unexpected given her oppressively shy nature at the time.
