With the release of both Naruto Shipuuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles and Naruto Shippuden: Naruto vs. Sasuke next week, Atlus has released trailers featuring the multiplayer aspects of each game to get players to anticipate these games even more.

The trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles features a match between Sasuke and Naruto, both using their acquired Ninja Scrolls to battle it out with each other. One of the features displayed in the trailer is the ability to fight in five different regions, each with its own corresponding element (Earth, Lightning, Fire, Wind, Water). Each region has its own deadly traps that can trip you up in the middle of a match or provide an opening to catch your opponent off guard. The ninja scrolls allows players to use attacks of multiple elements to devastate any opponent in a player's path.

Next up is the trailer for Naruto Shippuden: Naruto vs. Sasuke, which features a Super Smash Bros. style of gameplay. Up to 4 players can duke it out in multiplayer to determine just who is the top ninja around. Players can select from 11 different ninja, all of whom will be bringing their newly acquired skills and abilities from training over the 2 1/2 year period between the Naruto and Naruto Shippuden storyline. The trailers show characters freely moving back and forth between the different planes on the battlefield, which give the game a mix of both 2D and 3D feel action.
