Today, Namco Bandai outlined their plans for their Tales of RPG series at its annual media briefing in Tokyo today. Namco Tales Studio General Manager Makoto Yoshidumi announced that the theme of the series this year will be "Tales With". The theme stands for the togetherness the studio wants to feel when making their games with not only their developers, but also press, distributors, game players, and everything in-between.

In this year's fresh lineup of titles is Phantasia Narikiri Dungeon X for the PSP, which is set to be released on August 5th. This title is actually a remake of the original Game Boy Color game, Tales of Phantasia: Narikiri Dungeon. Also included on the disc is a remake of the original "Tales of" game, Tales of Phantasia.

Next up is a remake of Tales of Graces for Playstation 3, titled Tales of Graces F. The F in title stands for "Future", and the game features a slew of additional content which include a new chapter which is set half a year after the end of the original game. Players will gain a better understanding of some of the mysteries that lingered upon finishing the original. The additional content also includes new combat skills, additional costumes, and updated HD graphics. Tales of Graces F will be released this upcoming Winter.

The PSP is getting a sequel titled Tales of World: Radiant Mythology 3, which is set to be released in 2011. This title is jam-packed with over 80 Tales of characters, new recorded voices, and the customization of each character becomes more open and free. The much demanded "data install" feature is set to be included in the game as well.

Lastly, the first details were announced on the PS3's exclusive Tales of game with a working title of Next Tales of. This game is considered to be the series' 15h anniversary title. The game's art designer will be Daigo Okumura, who did the character designs for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, which was released on the Nintendo Wii. The song artist and character designer have not been decided yet. The release date for the new PS3 title is TBA.

As a little bonus, Namco Bandai announced that there are plans to release two Tales series books that will commemorate the series' 15th anniversary. The titles of the books are Tales of Chronicle and Mutsumt Inomata Tales of Image Collection 2004-2010. The release date for both of the books is this Winter.

Unfortunately, associated with the announcement was a statement that there are no current plans to bring these games, or any of the Japanese exclusive Tales games, beyond Japanese shores. Maybe next year.
