The Twitch streaming icon Ninja has commented on the controversy surrounding a fellow streamer, Nadia. The Twitch streamer and popular gaming TikTok influencer Nadia was recently alleged to have cheated and removed from a promotional Call of Duty LAN event. Ninja defended Nadia and lambasted the internet critics that accused Nadia of cheating. In Ninja's view, the controversy was fabricated but is turning in Nadia's favor.

Nadia is best known for her Twitch streams of Call of Duty: Warzone and TikTok videos she creates for her over 2 million followers. The recent controversy surrounding her began at a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta testing event to which the streamer was invited to. At the event, after a chat with an Activision employee, Nadia left her computer to join an interview. This simple interaction was twisted with manipulated videos to seem like Nadia had been banned from the event.

Ninja, who recently returned from a break to stream everywhere, commented on the controversy on his stream. He was amazed at the degree to which people go to create completely made-up drama. One of the world's most popular streamers started by saying that Nadia is in fact a marketing genius and is using the accusations to her benefit. He then dissected the whole conspiracy. The viral clip that accused Nadia of cheating, didn't include the fact that the person who had initially come on stream to say she was pulled from the event, came back on stream to say he was just kidding.

Ninja explained that there are tons of hackers and cheaters on Warzone that get banned, and Nadia would be banned if she was cheating. Furthermore, she would never be invited to a prestigious Activision launch event if she was abusing the game. However, Ninja did say that Nadia was "slammed" in the event, suggesting she didn't perform as well as others. It is unclear whether Ninja based this on the clip circulating that shows her first game only.

Nadia has explained the controversy herself and posted non-edited clips for all to see. In those, she shows that following the poor performance with a 4-16 K/D ratio, she managed the top spot with 10 kills alongside former CDL professional Apathy. Nadia also played the preceding video footage of her leaving the computer where the Activision employee comes to ask Nadia whether she would like to do an interview. As Nadia tells the stream she's taking a break and jokes that she's in trouble, the employee clearly laughs it off and says she's not in trouble. This isn't the first time internet trolls have tried to ruin her day. Not too long ago, Nadia was swatted on live on stream but turned that inconvenience into a win as well.
