My Hero Academia's fifth season is still likely a long ways away, especially since we only found out that it was in production earlier this year in April. While anime watchers are no doubt desperate to see what kind of escapades Deku and his fellow students will find themselves in in the future, especially with the League of Villains still at large, those playing My Hero One's Justice have plenty of new content to keep them occupied.

As of today, My Hero One's Justice 2's second DLC character, Mei Hatsume, is available for players to download either separately or as part of the game's season pass. Fans may be surprised to see her entering the ring considering she's less of a fighter and is a passionate inventor, responsible for creating all manner of gadgets and devices. Some of her creations have even greatly aided Deku in his own exploits.

But those who remember her introduction during the second season's tournament arc will know that she's no slouch in battle and her trailer shows her use her many gadgets, including her Capture Gun, Electro Booster, and Wire Arrow, to help her knock her opponent about the arena. And with her Zoom Quirk, she can pinpoint and exploit enemy weaknesses to deal further damage.

Players will also have the option to purchase a cheerleader costume for her, alongside Outlaw Suit costumes for some of the villain characters. There are a couple of free additions that everyone will be able to receive, though, as part of the new update.

Firstly, Nomu, who was initially only playable for those who pre-ordered My Hero One's Justice 2, is now available for everyone. And secondly, there is a photo mode where players can set up their own dioramas to take snapshots of. Lastly, the update provides tweaks and adjustments for the entire roster to help further balance the game.

There is still plenty more support to come, primarily more playable characters. So far, the only DLC characters to be released are Mei and the Pro Hero Hawks, who released a couple of months ago in June. This could mean we'll see the next character become available around October time, but who could it possibly be? The anime is filled to the brim with potential choices, with some members of Class 1A still absent from the roster, such as Ojiro, Aoyama, and Sero.

Meanwhile, there is still a hope that the series will receive a non-fighting game tie-in of some kind, especially in the wake of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. An action-adventure RPG set in the world of My Hero Academia sounds like it could be a success.

My Hero One's Justice 2 is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
