Starting this week, players of My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero have been offered a chance at unlocking a new fan-favorite character, the student hero Lemillion, which is one of the anime's more popular characters. As reported by Screen Rant, Lemillion is available as an event unlockable character recruit banner from now through the end of August.
Fans of the My Hero Academia mobile game will have the chance to bring Mirio Togata's powerful skillset and uniquely adaptable playstyles into the game. With his banner reveal, EX Support Cards in The Strongest Hero are also obtainable through the event. After the banner has concluded, it will be impossible to unlock the character until the developers decide when, if ever, to release a repeat banner.
In the main My Hero Academia anime, the character Lemillion is known for being ultra competent and formidable, initially a part of the “Big 3” group designated to be one of the most promising new heroes at U.A. High School. In the anime he’s known for his Quirk power “Permeation,” which allows him to phase through objects and coordinate extremely effective attack patterns against villains. Because Lemillion played a big role in the recent finale of the fifth season of the anime, it’s only natural that the character’s banner is set to be a big event for the game.
One of the most interesting aspects to Lemillion in The Strongest Hero is his adaptable playstyle, mirroring what was established in the anime. He has been described by the development team of the game as “a fast attacker that will rapid fire punches and kicks in a flurry of blows from all directions.” Naturally befitting the effective combination of his skillset in the anime, Lemillion’s moveset in The Strongest Hero is adaptable to different distanced attacks and multiple playstyles: "Continually use his skills and abilities to charge up more and more POWER! Switch battle stances mid-combat to change Lemillion's playstyle. Be aggressive and leave no room for your opponent, or bide your time and reserve energy for an epic comeback."
Since its global launch last year, My Hero Academia: The Strongest Hero has earned an impressive 13 million downloads across iOS and Android platforms as one of the top-downloaded mobile games of 2021. The game already has a roster of over 20 characters from the MHA universe, and regular timed events like the Lemillion unlock are set to steadily increase that roster.
My Hero Academia has continued to be one of the most popular anime and manga franchises in years, and recent information regarding the upcoming sixth season and its various feature films has given fans an undeniable surge of hype.
