With so many villains possessing deadly Quirks, choosing some of the most dangerous villains in My Hero Academia may be a daunting task. But these eight villains, nonetheless, are notorious for all the right reasons.

7 Stain

Stain in My Hero Academia

Also known as Chizome Akaguro, Stain rose to prominence as the Hero Killer after becoming delusioned with heroes that cared only for fame and fortune. One of his first acts in the series was to grievously wound Tenya's older brother Tensei, effectively crippling him out of being a hero.

As fearsome as Stain is, he refuses to kill Heroes that do not use their Quirks selfishly, such as Deku. As for his own Quirk, he possesses the crippling Bloodcurdle, granting him the ability to paralyze victims by simply ingesting their blood.

6 Nomu (USJ Version)

There are many variations of Nomu that have been introduced in the series thus far, but the Nomu shown during the attack on USJ earns its place on this list for its sheer destructive power. Although it was previously seen defeating Eraser Head and Thirteen, two intelligent Pro Heroes, this version of Nomu was created for the sole purpose of destroying All Might, possessing regeneration and shock absorption Quirks to counter One For All.

Although Nomu failed to kill All Might, it did manage to make him overextend himself and shorten both his lifespan and power. After its defeat, it was later revealed that Nomu was originally a petty thief who was genetically altered to harbor a multitude of Quirks.

5 Muscular

Muscular My Hero Academia

A powerful member of the League of Villains, Muscular is one of many villains to attack the students of Class 1-A during their summer camp in the forest. He possesses the augmentative Pump Up Quirk, with allows him to manipulate his muscles and boost his physical power.

Muscular's Quirk proved to be a match for Midoriya's 100% One For All, to the point that the latter lost use of one of his arms. Though he was imprisoned in Tartarus after his defeat, he decided to indulge himself by massacring innocent people upon his release.

4 Shigaraki Tomura

As All For One's protege and adoptive son, Tomura is able to fight on par with many Pro-Heroes such as Mirko and Endeavor. His primary Quirk, Decay, allows him to rot away any solid object by simply making physical contact, the scope of which has evolved to the point of being able to decay part of an entire city.

While his original Quirk already makes Tomura a force to be reckoned with, the addition of the dangerously versatile All For One now grants him the ability to steal the Quirks from other heroes, such as a regeneration Quirk and Ragdoll's Search Quirk, allowing him to shrug off even the strongest of attacks.

3 Dabi

Dabi My Hero Academia Villain with Scars

Also known as Toya Todoroki, Dabi wields the Blueflame Quirk, which is very similar to his father's Hellflame. Although his own flames will burn him after prolonged use, Dabi still has masterful control over them and can utilize them in very creative ways, such as overwhelming opponents with only his sheer blaze.

But as it turns out, Dabi's Blueflame is not what makes him dangerous. Throughout the manga, it is revealed that Dabi is a master at psychological warfare; he is able to deduce the strengths and weaknesses of his opponents' Quirks and broadcast his true heritage to the rest of the world in order to break Endeavor.

2 Himiko Toga

Unlike Dabi, Himiko's ferocity does not necessarily come from her Quirk. With the ability to transform into others by ingesting their blood, Himiko's powers alone seem more suited for infiltration and subterfuge as opposed to direct combat, though this has since changed with her Quirk's awakening.

What Himiko once lacked with her Quirk she more than makes up for with her obsessive and maniacal personality. Armed with a knife and an array of blood-storing machines, she will relentlessly chase anyone who piques her interest in battle and kill anyone who stands between her and her object of affection.

1 Gigantomachia

My Hero Academia Gigantomachia

As the mad scientist Kyudai Garaki puts it, Gigantomachia is destruction incarnate, thriving on destruction so long as it is for the sake of All For One. Befitting his gigantic stature, Gigantomachia has immense strength and durability, allowing him to deal massive damage as well as endure attacks without sustaining injuries from his opponents.

During the Paranormal Liberation War arc, Gigantomachia held his own against Gran Torino and Mt. Lady, two well-known Pro Heroes, all while demolishing his surroundings with his dumbfounding speed. His only weakness seems to be the fact that he cannot think for himself, instead relying on others to order him around.
