There are a lot of popular anime currently airing, with My Hero Academia being one of the most popular ongoing ones. Fans of this show will be pleased to find out that a new free to play mobile game for this anime will be released in 2021.

This game was announced in the hit Japanese shounen manga magazine Jump in an upcoming issue. The game's translated title is My Hero Academia Ultra Impact. The announcement however is not official yet as some magazine subscribers have received their issues earlier than intended.

Like many anime mobile games, this upcoming My Hero Academia game has a gacha system and optional micro-transactions. This can prove dangerous for players with loose wallets and bad spending habits, so players should watch their in-game purchases with caution.

This new game will follow the story of the original My Hero manga and anime with many of the characters found throughout the series planned to be available. It will feature a turn-based battle system as well as new exclusive artwork for the characters of the game.

When the official Twitter and official website open up after the magazine's intended release comes by, more information will likely be made available. Players additionally will be able to sign up for a closed beta of the game in the upcoming future.

As this was announced in a Japanese magazine, it is unknown on the status of an official English translation for this mobile game will be released if at all. Anime-based gacha games have failed before with the recent closing of Magia Record's servers from Puella Magi Madoka Magica still being fresh in anime fans' minds.

My Hero Academia Ultra Impact will be released in 2021 for iOS and Android devices.
