The world of My Hero Academia has seen countless large-scale battles take place with monstrously powerful Heroes and Villains taking part in them. For each faction to fight at such a high-level means that they must be tough enough to withstand the tremendous attacks thrown their way.

So far, the story of My Hero Academia has already introduced fans to characters who possess insanely high durability and by throwing everything on the line, they further the goals of their organization.

10 Eijiro Kirishima

Red Riot Kirishima

One of the students of U.A's Class 1-A, Eijiro Kirishima is an extremely impressive student whose fighting style revolves around the usage of the Hardening Quirk. As the name suggests, this Quirk allows him to harden his body so he can take a high amount of damage.

At his strongest, Kirishima can access a form called Red Riot: Unbreakable which, although temporary, boosts his durability to sky-high levels and also increases his offensive output.

9 Crimson Riot

Crimson Riot My Hero Academia

Crimson Riot is known to have been a legendary Hero back in the day and just like Eijiro Kirishima, he made use of a Quirk similar to Hardening. Being seen in legendary light, it shouldn't be a surprise that Crimson Riot likely possessed higher durability than Kirishima.

Although he's yet to be seen in combat, in the future, fans will likely get a glimpse of what he's capable of and how high his durability really is.

8 Muscular

Muscular My Hero Academia

One of the former members of the League of Villains, Muscular was an extremely tough opponent for anyone to take on in battle. Thanks to his Quirk, he was able to withstand an absurd amount of damage, and his strength shot through the roof as well.

In the first fight against Izuku Midoriya, Muscular was able to withstand a 100% powered attack from Izuku Midoriya, which just goes to show that he remains to be one of the most durable fighters in the story.

7 Gigantomachia

Gigantomachia from My Hero Academia

Gigantomachia is one of the strongest characters in the world of My Hero Academia. Having been the personal bodyguard of All For One, it is quite easy to see that his strength and durability surpass humans drastically. Gigantomachia has several Quirks and like Kirishima, he has a Hardening Quirk as well.

At the same time, his other Quirks further boost his durability and when paired with his incredible stamina, he can keep fighting for days, if not weeks.

6 Hood

Hood Nomu fighting Endeavor and Hawks

One of the High-Ends that were created by Dr. Garaki, Hood was an incredibly powerful Nomu who could rival the likes of All Might in combat. In the fight against Endeavor, Hood proved that he was strong enough to take on most of his attacks and, what's even more surprising, recover from them within a matter of seconds.

Hood's durability allowed him to push the Number One Hero, Endeavor, beyond all his limits, which just goes to show that he was extremely tough to take down.

5 USJ Nomu

All Might vs Nomu

The USJ Nomu was the very first Nomu that fans got to see in combat in My Hero Academia. It was created to take down All Might and with the Shock Absorption and Super Regeneration Quirk, the USJ Nomu was strong enough to withstand All Might at 100% of his power.

It took about 300 punches from All Might to defeat him and once again, he had to surpass his own limits to be able to defeat the USJ Nomu, which is proof enough that his durability was incredibly high.

4 Shigaraki Tomura

Shigaraki Tomura Regeneration

Shigaraki Tomura is one of the strongest characters in My Hero Academia at the moment, if not the strongest. After his surgery, his body was made much more resilient and with the All For One Quirk, he reached new levels of power.

Shigaraki's durability was such that even after Aizawa erased all his Quirks, he was tough enough to survive everything that Endeavor threw at him. His durability drew direct comparisons to All Might and it goes without saying he's one of the most durable fighter right now.

3 Izuku Midoriya 100%

Izuku Midoriya in My Hero Academia

Izuku Midoriya might not be the most durable fighter generally but at 100% of One For All, his durability shoots through the roof and it appears that he's invulnerable to any attacks.

Just at 30% of One For All, he was able to take blows from the same Shigaraki who drew comparisons to All Might. At 100% strength, Shigaraki's best attacks could do nothing to him. His durability decreases the more damage he takes, however, and that is a downside of his abilities.

2 All For One

My Hero Academia All For One

All For One was the greatest villain in My Hero Academia so far and also the one with the most durability. With the incredible amounts of Quirks that he had stolen, All For One could boost his strength, speed, and even durability to sky-high levels.

He was capable of taking blows from All Might without even flinching and at his best, even pushing All Might back at times. To defeat him, All Might had to go past all his limits and use the United States of Smash.

1 All Might

All Might vs Midoriya and Bakugo in My Hero Academia

Quite easily the most durable character in My Hero Academia so far, All Might is the former Number One Hero who held the power of One For All before Izuku Midoriya. Thanks to the Quirk and the incredible training that he underwent, All Might became extremely tough, being capable of taking attacks that nobody else would survive.

In the fight against All For One, he was able to take on an attack that vaporized half of a city and block it with just his arm. What's even more surprising is that he did this far from his best. In his prime, All Might was much stronger and durable and no other character comes close to him in any physical attribute.
