My Hero Academia features incredibly diverse characters with rivaling abilities and tragic backstories. It's clear that two of the anime's recurring characters with similar quirks also happen to be related.

Endeavor, formerly the No.2 hero and recently named No.1, is arguably a hero first, then a father to 4 children, two of which are quite powerful. Though similar, Toya, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto all have dissimilarities that distinguish them, including their quirks. Shoto and Toya, now known as Dabi, are identified as Endeavor's two most powerful children. However, not much is known about Fuyumi and Natsuo. Are they just as powerful as Shoto and Dabi? The answer is probably not.

Shoto Todoroki

It's quite known that Shoto, Endeavor's youngest and arguably most treasured child, is incredibly powerful. Possessing both of his parents' quirks, he has the ability to utilize both hot and cold elements. When he is first introduced, Shoto is resentful and refuses to use his left side, the hot quirk he inherited from his father. However, he eventually accepts that it is a part of him on the condition that he won't be like Endeavor.

Dabi (Toya Todoroki)

Dabi (My Hero Academia)

Meanwhile, Dabi, formerly known as Toya and Endeavor's firstborn, possesses a quirk that is quite unlike the quirks of his siblings. Though he inherited the hot quirk from Endeavor, the heat of Dabi's quirk significantly exceeds that of Endeavor's, so much so that it's blue. As a matter of fact, it is so hot that using it for a prolonged period of time, coupled with carrying his mother's genetics, will burn him severely. This, of course, has happened in the past, which is why Dabi is covered in burns. Dabi's skills and quirk rival Shoto's, especially because Endeavor trained both sons excessively and vigorously, even teaching them his signature moves in hopes that they would take his place one day.

Fuyumi Todoroki

Endeavor's only daughter and second-born child, Fuyumi, inherited her mother's ice quirk. Fuyumi is quite smart, nurturing, and kind. As a result, she has spent her life looking after her younger brothers (particularly Shoto) after their mother was unable to take on that role. However, despite that she has the ability to control ice, Fuyumi doesn't seem to necessarily have any desire to be a pro hero. Rather, she makes a living as an elementary teacher. Regardless of how strongFuyumi'ss quirk is, she is unlikely to be stronger than (or as strong as) her brothers due to an absence of training.

Natsuo Todoroki

Natsuo Todoroki

Similar to Fuyumi and their mother, Natsuo's quirk is also the ability to produce ice. It does become clear throughout the episodes that very little is revealed aboutNatsuo'ss personal life and use of quirk. However, like Fuyumi, Natsuo leads a fairly simple life as a college student, away from hero life and work.

The Verdict

todoroki family

Considering that Dabi and Shoto were the only two Todoroki children who inherited their father's hot quirk, it's clear that they became favored by Endeavor. In other words, Endeavor's obsession with surpassing All Might and passing on his quirk to his children led to a relatively unbalanced treatment of his children. Endeavor spent his time training Dabi, then eventually Shoto, while neglecting to train Fuyumi and Natsuo with their ice quirks because he didn't see their training as a priority.

Therefore, Fuyumi andNatsuo'ss quirks never developed like Dabi and Shoto. This ultimately suggests that while they have their own strengths and weaknesses, their abilities are not as strong or powerful as their siblings' quirks.
