Ever since All Might’s retirement, Endeavor has taken a more active role in the My Hero Academia story. The de-facto number one hero has had to prove his worth on multiple occasions, and with the sixth season basically underway, he is bound to have a lot more on his plate.

His quirk, Hellflame, allows him to manipulate large amounts of fire with great destructive force. He is also capable of using it in multiple ways, depending on what kind of situation he finds himself in. Though powerful, the quirk takes quite a toll on his body when used continuously, causing him to overheat and require rest before he can take further action. In battle, he is known for unleashing a great number of powerful attacks, and these are the strongest moves he has used so far in the My Hero Academia series.

9 Ignited

Before releasing this attack, Endeavor condenses a small amount of fire within his fists, having it take the shape of a fire lance. He then uses it as a projectile through which he can attack his targets over a distance.

It is not an extremely powerful ability, but it's one of the few efficient long-range attacks he has within his arsenal. On one occasion, it was used to save a civilian who was being abducted by a Winged Nomu, while on another, it was used to incapacitate a small-time villain.

8 Jet Burn

After using Flashfire Fist to condense his flames into white-hot points on his fists, Endeavor unleashes a powerful ray of fire capable of extending over relatively long distances. Despite its reach, however, it is usually employed at close range to maximize the effect on its target.

It has been noted by Endeavor that this attack cannot be used multiple times in a single battle, as it increases the rate at which his body overheats. It was used to punch a hole in Hood as his opening move, but the High-End was basically unfazed after receiving the attack.

7 Hell's Curtain

With this attack, Endeavor covers a vast area in a blanket of flashfire with the intention of locking his target in place. It was used against Tomura Shigaraki to prevent him from leaving the Jaku General Hospital ruins, but the attack was ineffective due to the villain’s powerful new form.

However, Endeavor did state that the attack would be capable of incapacitating any regular opponent, implying that its redundancy was mainly due to Shigaraki’s enhanced constitution. It also does not possess significant destructive force, as it is more focused on affecting individuals.

6 Hell Spider

In preparation for this attack, Endeavor activates his signature Flashfire Fist; an enhanced state where he raises his temperature significantly to augment the power of his abilities. He then releases multiple thread-like flames from his fingertips and uses them to attack his opponents.

On first showing, this ability was relatively inefficient against the high-end Nomu, Hood. However, his next attack packed considerably more power, splitting the high-end into multiple pieces and destroying the top half of a skyscraper right behind it.

5 Hellfire Storm

endeavor's Hellfire Storm attack

This attack made its first appearance in the canon My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga series. It engulfs a wide area in a whirlwind of flames, incinerating anything that comes into contact with it. Its massive appearance may make it seem crude, but as observed by Detective Tsukauchi, it requires precise control to perform.

It was used by Endeavor to destroy the explosive bees belonging to the rogue Pop☆Step. However, he deactivated the attack early after noticing an individual he thought to be a hero within its range.

4 Hell Minefield

Originating from the My Hero Academia: Vigilantes manga, this attack was used by Endeavor in an attempt to apprehend the vigilante, Crawler. It possesses an enormous amount of destructive force, replicating and amplifying the effect of multiple landmines being placed belowground.

It also acts as an eruption of flames capable of extending several meters above the surface, posing a significant threat to any who are even off the ground. Though the vigilante escaped this attack, it severely injured Number 6, a villain posing as a hero who was involved with All For One.

3 Vanishing Fist

This attack is performed through a flame-coated punch that packs immense force. Through it, Endeavor’s flames take the form of a massive fist, and even after making contact with his target, the enlarged fist can still be seen passing through them.

It was strong enough to knock Shigaraki down in his awakened form, significantly wounding the powerful villain in the process. Later during the second war, Endeavor also used it against All For One himself, managing to bypass his Hard-Flame Fan while also being impervious to his Impact Recoil.

2 Vanishing Jet Burn

As the name implies, this attack combines the effects of Vanishing Fist and Jet Burn, creating a devastating force that is effective at both close and long range. It was employed by Endeavor in the second war and was fired off even though the number one hero was missing his right arm.

Incensed by All For One’s provocations and meddling with his son Toya Todoroki, it was the first of a series of attacks aimed at destroying the powerful villain. It was also highly effective, as it hammered All For One into the ground and created an opening for more attacks.

1 Prominence Burn

Stated by Endeavor himself to be his most powerful technique, Prominence Burn is an attack often used at the climax of his most difficult battles. It entails an immense exertion of firepower from his entire body, which can be aimed at any direction he so wishes. The improved version is named PLUS ULTRA Prominence Burn, and it involves the release of an even more intense amount of power while holding his opponent close to his body.

This attack has been featured in fights with some of the series' most powerful villains, such as Hood, Shigaraki, and All For One. On all three occasions, Endeavor has managed to burn his enemies beyond recognition, though in the cases of Shigaraki and All For One, they barely survived the impact.
