My Hero Academia is characterized by a constant struggle for power between the villains that want to destroy the structure of their society and the heroes that would stop at nothing to make sure that doesn’t happen. Wherever there is a conflict of interest, tensions get high, and in a world filled with superpowered people, death and chaos follow.

Heroes and Villains alike have had to kill for different reasons, whether to protect themselves or others or as a statement to people that stand in their way. Here are the My Hero Academia characters with the most kills.

Although some of these characters have presumably more kills, this article will stick to their officially confirmed kills.

9 Twice

  • Confirmed Kills: 1

Jin Bubaigawara, otherwise known as Twice, was one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front that is affiliated with the League of Villains. He has a dissociative identity disorder and is mentally unstable. His quirk allows him to duplicate anything, living or not, and it made him a very valuable asset to the Villains.

His lone kill came when one of his doubles stabbed Eel Boy in the back of the head as he was about to properly secure the villains Himiko Toga and Mr. Compress that he had recently captured.

8 Endeavor

  • Confirmed Kills: 3

Endeavor is a Pro Hero that protects; his kill count is due to his fights with Nomus, that can not be incapacitated and therefore have to be killed in order to be stopped. He uses his fire techniques to obliterate them totally.

It was later discovered that the Nomus were made from human beings and it weighed on his conscience for a while, but it did not stop him from doing what had to be done to protect his society and fulfill his duty as the number one hero.

7 Himiko Toga

  • Confirmed Kills: 5+

Popularly known for her bloodthirsty nature and quirk, which allows her to transform into an inch-perfect lookalike of whoever’s blood she ingests, she can also copy their quirks if she knows enough about how it works, but she has to be fascinated about the person and hold the person dear. Her quirk is perfect for infiltration, espionage, and recon missions.

She’s also a lieutenant of the Paranormal Liberation Front and is responsible for quite a lot of deaths, using Uravity’s quirk to take out Curious and her Squad. Toga seems to have adopted Tomura’s ideology of destroying whatever she rejects.

6 Gigantomachia

  • Confirmed Kills: 5+

As his name implies, he has a gigantic frame, and his body appears rock-like. He seems calm and polite until he gets ticked off and goes on a rampage like a ticking time bomb. He’s a faithful servant of All For One and would destroy anything and anyone in his path to achieve his objective once commanded.

He has been modified with several quirks to enable him to become the perfect bodyguard. Tomura unleashed him during the assault on the villa, enabling him to kill a few Pro Heroes, including Majestic, who ranks close to the top ten.

5 Overhaul

  • Confirmed Kills: 5+

Kai Chisaki, known as Overhaul, is the former Yakuza leader of the Shie Hassaikai. He has a quirk that lets him disassemble anything he touches and also lets him reassemble it however he likes. Kai had a dream of ridding the world of quirks and would stop at nothing to do it because the existence of quirks stripped the Yakuza of their influence in society.

Nighteye’s death is one of the famous casualties attributed to Overhaul. He uses his abilities to destroy and disassemble people, a terrible death indeed. Magne and some other villains have also been victims of his.

4 All For One

All Might’s rival has not really amassed a huge kill count. He bestowed quirks upon other villains in exchange for their loyalty, and he commanded them from the shadows; as such, he became the founder and leader of the League of Villains.

He only gets his hands dirty when the situation involves the wielder of One For All, and he has killed and fatally injured all past users of the quirk. He can steal quirks and also give them out. He dreamt of becoming an all-powerful villain, just like All Might strived to become the Symbol of Justice.

3 Stain

Stain in My Hero Academia
  • Confirmed Kills: 19+

A ruthless man whose goal was to eliminate all heroes that donned the name without the conviction and the pure heart it took to be a real hero. His reputation as a murderer grew so much that he got nicknamed Hero Killer.

His quirk called Bloodcurdle was tailor-made for him, as it lets him temporarily paralyze an opponent by ingesting their blood, and his sword made it easier to take blood from his victims. He has killed a ton of heroes and left some fatally injured. He also killed an inmate in prison.

2 Dabi

Dabi revealing himself as Toya Todoroki in My Hero Academia
  • Confirmed Kills: 30+

The brother of Shoto and son of Pro Hero Endeavor, Dabi’s real name is Todoroki Toya. He was neglected by his father, just like Tomura, and that led him to become a villain. He is also one of the nine lieutenants of the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Dabi’s quirk gives him control over blue flames which are much hotter than regular flames, and the temperature increases based on his anger toward his father. He has killed well over thirty people, including the Pro Hero Snatch, earning a reputation as a cold-blooded killer. He is a good long-range fighter and uses his flames to burn all that may stand in his way.

1 Shigaraki Tomura

Endeavor Almost Completely Destroyed Shigaraki Body Despite His Power Upgrade-1
  • Confirmed Kills: 35+

The successor for All For One, he brings chaos and destruction everywhere he goes. He was a victim of an abusive parent, and so it is poetic that his first victims were his family members; though initially, it was not intentional, he took his time and enjoyed the experience of taking his abusive father’s life.

His quirk, decay lets him decay whatever he lays his hands on; when he awakened his quirk, the objects he decayed also had the ability to decay whatever they came in contact with, creating a snowball effect of death and destruction that claimed the lives of heroes and people alike, not that he would mind. After all, he aims to burn their society to the ground and rebuild it from scratch.
