With My Hero Academia's popularity it is no surprise that it's a property that has been adapted into quite a few video games. Aside from fighting games like My Hero One's Justice, there's also been a few mobile spin-offs such as My Hero Ultra Impact, a 3-on-3 fighting RPG that utilizes gacha mechanics to summon popular characters from the franchise. The series will be taking on another gaming genre, the battle royale, with Bandai Namco's upcoming My Hero Ultra Rumble.

My Hero Ultra Rumble was first revealed in an issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly Jump. It touts that players can participate in 24-player multiplayer battle royales, with teams of three. It also showed a few playable characters with heroes such as Katsuki Bakugo, All Might and Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, along with villains such as Tomura Shigaraki. Bandai Namco recently has uploaded a trailer that gives a little more information on what to expect from this anime-based battle royale.
