My Hero Academia 377 was released a while ago and it was certainly an interesting addition to the final war arc of the story. With each passing chapter, the story is now hurtling towards its end and it is crucial that Horikoshi end this in the best way possible in order to do his magnum opus justice. So far, things have been moving pretty well and the story is only getting more enjoyable now that the climax is close.
Previously, fans got to see a bit of Deku and Shigaraki, along with some key information about the UA itself. Towards the end of the chapter, La Brava made her appearance after a very long time and this was certainly unexpected for a lot of fans. My Hero Academia 378 will look to take things from here and continue on some of the plot points, while highlighting some others that didn't make it in the previous chapter.
Deku and Shigaraki Talk
Perhaps one of the most important parts of My Hero Academia 378 will be the conversation between Deku and Shigaraki. Previously, fans saw Deku ask All For One if Shigaraki was there as he wanted to hold a face-to-face conversation with him. At that time, All For One had complete control over Shigaraki's body and due to this, the latter was not able to emerge and talk to Deku. However, in the previous chapter, things changed slightly in that aspect. Shigaraki now appears to have a certain level of control over his body. He emerged somehow and broke through the control that All For One had on him. He also told Deku that there is no point in them talking since they are on opposite ends and are fated to find against one another.
Deku, however, is dead set on holding a meaningful conversation with him as he still believes that Shigaraki is someone who deserves a helping hand and this was first highlighted in the Paranormal Liberation War arc. My Hero Academia 378 will certainly highlight this conversation and see the two talk to each other as their Quirks are resonating, as seen towards the end of the chapter.
La Brava In The Spotlight
At the same time, My Hero Academia 378 could also throw light on La Brava and her surprising return to the story. Fans might remember La Brava from the Cultural Festival arc in My Hero Academia, which took place quite a while ago. Towards the end of the arc, both Gentle and La Brava were arrested and the latter was made to work for them. Curiously, La Brava had stayed on the sidelines for all this while, however, now is her time to shine and in the previous chapter, she helped track down one of the members of the Paranormal Liberation Front responsible for the hack and the disruption of the control over U.A. In My Hero Academia 378, fans could see her track him down and help others to get to him in order to save UA itself.
She also mentioned that whatever she is doing is for Gentle, her partner, and the person she loves very dearly. Fans could very well also see Gentle sooner rather than later in the story, however, it doesn't appear that it's going to be in the next chapter. Nonetheless, My Hero Academia 378 could certainly provide insight into Gentle and his current doings. Fans have not heard from him ever since his arrest and now would be the perfect time for some insight into his character. The next chapter could very well set the stage for his return as well, and, at the same time, give the spotlight to La Brava, whose powers could be key in this war, as fans have already seen what she's capable of previously.
Endeavor's Resolve
My Hero Academia 378 could also focus a bit on Endeavor as he appears to be one of the most important characters in the arc, as expected of the Number One Hero. Previously, it was revealed that Dabi was there to confront his own father and destroy him and his legacy once and for all, completing his revenge in the process. With Hawks and All For One busy, this meant that Endeavor had to deal with his own son. Endeavor has already once destroyed the life of his son by placing unreal expectations on him and not acknowledging the abilities that he had. This led to Touya becoming what he is today.
It is highly unlikely for him to kill his own son and do this all over again. More likely than not, Endeavor will try to figure out a way to save his son without having to kill him and help him return to the good side once again. While Touya certainly does appear to be beyond help, it is up to Endeavor to find a solution to deal with him. If he can, he would certainly like to save his son, and My Hero Academia 378 could very well set the foundation for this as well. Fans could see the internal struggle of Endeavor while confronting his son without actually going all out against him. Given that he has already suffered in the war quite a lot and even lost an arm, Endeavor is likely to struggle against his son and potentially face serious damage. That said, things are only heating up when it comes to the Todoroki Family and hopefully, the upcoming chapter will allow the fans to dive deeper into it.
