The open beta for MultiVersus is currently live for compatible consoles and continues to find success in the world of gaming. Since the closed beta ended, MultiVersus has already logged over 10 million different accounts on its servers, which is an incredible milestone because it has not been officially released yet.

MultiVersus is well known at this point for its diverse character roster, which includes characters like Shaggy, LeBron James, and Arya Stark, in addition to how easily accessible the game is. Since DC Comics characters are also a property of Warner Bros., there have been whispers among MultiVersus fans that the Teen Titans will be added to the game, and Raven in particular might have a shot at joining the fight.

MultiVersus Datamine Leaks Raven

Those hoping the superhero will be added may be getting their wish, as a MultiVersus datamine revealed voice lines for Raven. A few other DC characters that have also been leaked include Static Shock, Black Adam, and Poison Ivy.

In one of the uncovered voice lines, Raven quips, "Alright El, let's crush him like a soda can," where she seems to be addressing another unannounced character, possibly Eleven from Netflix's popular show Stranger Things. However, whether these datamined characters will be coming soon is uncertain, as Warner Bros. Interactive recently announced that MultiVersus Season One was being delayed to an unknown date, as was the release of Rick and Morty. That means Raven's theoretical release window is a mystery.

Raven Would Be the Perfect Fit for MultiVersus

Raven MultiVersus

Raven is generally known for being a member of the Teen Titans who possesses magical abilities. In most mediums, she can use magic to teleport, create force fields, use telekinesis, and manifest her Soul-Self. What she'll be able to do exactly in the fighting game is not yet known, but it's likely that the developers won't stray far from her character's canon skill set. After all, Raven does have a voice line where she states, "I heard you didn't like magic. Hope you don't mind my whole...thing."

MultiVersus could be the perfect environment for her abilities, as there are already existing characters in the game that can perform similar actions. For example, Bugs Bunny can use a teleportation ability to move himself and his allies across the stage, while her defensive force field could behave similarly to the shield of Wonder Woman, keeping allies safe.

Raven's telekinesis could also wreak havoc on the MultiVersus battlefield, moving enemies around at a distance. Thanks to this, Raven would likely be classified as a Mage/Ranged character, accompanying Bugs Bunny and the Tom and Jerry duo. It would be true to Raven's fighting style in comics, since she's always done her best work when using magic from afar.

It's an understatement to say that the Teen Titans are long overdue to appear in a recent game, but with Raven leaked, there is hope that the rest of the team will follow suit. Robin could fall under MultiVersus' Bruiser category like Batman, while Starfire would probably be a Mage, as her star bolts give her plenty of long-range projectiles. Beast Boy would work nicely as a Bruiser, especially since his shapeshifting abilities could help him aggressively control space on the map, and Cyborg has great potential as a Tank, thanks to his armor.

Hopefully, as EVO 2022 has ended, more information from Warner Bros. Interactive on when MultiVersus will be ready for Season 1. A ranked multiplayer mode and arcade mode have been confirmed by the developers, but not much else is known at the moment. For now, players are free to continue testing different characters and combos in the open beta.

MultiVersus is now available in open beta for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
